as a cat she would be the size of a maine coon with those bright blue eyes of hers and solid black fur. Around her neck sat what looked like a collar with a crescent moon attached to it. She looked up at them in this form. "I should be able to detect the arsonist by smell if there setting fires they'll smell smoke or whatever they used to smell it."says Keira

 • "Smoke? Hmm, well the church has been known to burn food..." The look she got seemed as if they completely forgoten about the fire. Was this a continuous loop? If so, it made sense the would never catch the fire starter. It was a cycle, go to church, burn alive, question who could have done it, repeat. They walked into town along with most of the supposed citizens and like it was any Sunday, many of them, including the duo walked to the church.

 • From what could be seen there were a few particular standouts apart from the local houses. A funeral parlor of a sort could be seen with caskets being moved inside, an individual coming out of a store of some sort with a bloody apron on, an stable was nearby the church and then of course, the church itself. A somewhat older building yet there was some reminiscence of a time when it must have been a enchanting place. Elegant etching lined the slightly peeled paint of the wooden boards that made up the building and the inside seemed much similar with a slightly worn stand from and center with several large benches to the sides.

 • These didn't seem to strange but she did take the time to look. As she didn't want to rule anything out. Checking the stable near the church first as if anything it would be a very tempting spot to set a blaze if anything.

 • Nothing yet, though there was a cleaver with some blood on it very reminiscent to a slaughterhouse it didn't seem like something that should be within a stable, likely it was left behind by someone.

 • this gave her a little bit of a chill. As she seen the blood on it wondering why it was here. As she took a closer look sniffing the handle before looking around a bit more.

 • Hay, hay, and more hay bales. It would be easy to start a fire from that location and let it roar to consume the church in its entirety. There wasn't much more to find other than the cleaver, though it seemed the investigation garnered the attention to something simply unusual. From the robe up one could have easily mistaken as a man cloaked in a yellow robe, possibly a priest. Looking at what was under the robe though, was haunting. Inky black tentacles lay at where it's fee should have been and a small amount of slithering should be seen in the slit of the bandaged face. "... this is far different from the two humans that came before you. This might prove... interesting at the least." His voice seemed disembodied and distorientingly deep. It didn't seem to move. It just stood curiously watching.

 • Keira heard this voice the creature would have seen the fur rise along her spine as she looked at the creature while flicking her tail back and forth. This was more different than she had bargained for but she wasn't stupid enough to get within grabbing distance as she looked at before speaking. "Im no mere human creature."says Keira

 • "Hmm yes, yes, and what drives you to find out about this fire they speak of? They didn't pay you, they most likely don't even remember this place being burned down time and time again. Is there a... motive?" The strange creature seemed inquisitive, genuinely curious about the situation and unlike the residence, knowledgeable about the cycle of the place burning and returning to normal. It clearly wasn't human and looked far different than the citizens of the town. The sensation it gave off, it was like being studied under a microscope. If it was studying her, why?

 • she could get the feeling it was looking her over like it wanted to know what she was. But the creature wouldn't gain much knowledge about her in this form. But Keira kept a wary eye on the creature staying away from it. "Oh i have my reasons just like my reason for being in this current form and not the normal one. im not from here either."Says Keira
sorry it took me so long
•
It's all good. Holiday season is crazy lol
"Willing to save them knowing there might not be any value to come from it... interesting..." As if he had turned into a bucket of water, the strange creature simply splashed on the ground receding back into nothingness. Briefly after the smell of meat hung in the air. It seemed whoever if could have been was likely in the area but there were a few. A man draped in black who was seen near the funeral parlor earlier, the one with the bloody apron, and it appeared onenofnthe priests were out for A smoke break as he chatted with the locals.

 • Of course she wasn't just whoever it was get away. She wasn't the type to give up or back down not matter what this creature would have known if it had been from her world. She was to be very stubborn in this regard as she was seen exiting the stable clearly looking for it. But anyone that saw her would think she was just a cat a creature apparently uncommon in this world. She would have checked out the priest first though as he was the closest.

 • The priest looked over with a relatively warm smile on his face despite cigar smoke coming from his mouth. "What a strange creature. Is He expanding on our little world again?" For the unusually pale face of the people in this world, his face was that of an very relaxed older man with little trouble in his eyes.

 • she didn't know whoever this he wasthat was mention by the priest. She hadn't said a word to yet as she didn't want to scare the older man.

 • "Hmm, I guess this one cannot speak. Well, Cognivermis welcomes you unusual one" He put the cigar back in his mouth and blew a cloud of smoke overhead. There was a small amount of wine on the side of his garb likely from a spill in whatever the ceremony was that went about within the church. Nothing else seemed remarkable about him apart from the stain.

 • Keira had no clue who that was the priest mentioned but doesn't dwell on it for long as she scampers off to the next person. Which was the butcher next.

 • "What the hell is that?" It seemed he was somewhat drunk at the moment reeking of blood, steak and whiskey. He stared with groggy, confused eyes.
