I think the big problem is with what has happened in D2 so far. We all have opinions on what could have been done differently with the vanilla and I'm no exception. I can talk for hours about what improvements I would have made but that's pointless now. Then we had the hidden xp issue which made Bungie look pretty bad. They responded by changing it and doing a better version in the new year. Would they have done it if they hadn't got caught? Not sure, but doesn't matter now anyway. So they introduce the next DLC. It was never going to be the massive content people wanted because of the time issue so was received poorly. What extras they did add I really like. Purchasing armor from vendors should be a given so I won't praise that but I'm loving the masterworks. My RNG is laughably bad so it is taking me a while. Had 18 so far and braking them down gives me 1 core every time, lol. But I really like them. And I love the grind for the weapon forge. Guns are a bit crappy, but it gives me another way of bumping my light level on certain guns. My point is people are less forgiving with destiny because of the D2 experience so far. Bungie should have been aware of this and realised that if 3oC didn't have a noticeable affect then people would complain. And the Fated Engram didn't work. They should have been sure of this before it was released or they just add to the voices of decent. For all its faults, and there are a few, I still love the game. I tell everyone to NEVER purchase from Eververse as all that stuff will be free if nobody uses it. But enjoy the game and push for more content with constructive debates and ideas. I detest the 'destiny is dead' crowd. That helps nobody. This game is unique. It's about the community and I do love that people care so much about it, even though I do get randomly tea bagged in the Crucible. The clan I lead is great. People complain about guided games but I've found it to be very rewarding, was a welcome addition. But ultimately we accept the good stuff and complain about the bad, and with Bungie's reputation a bit delicate at the moment the complainers have a lot more solid ground to shout from. So releasing a 3oC that isn't noticably effective was always going to be an issue.
