"What the hell am I? Or what am I doing? Not sure which one you mean, Bucky." He smiled, chuckling a bit. His shield was raised out in front of him to block.

[i]Not wanting to remain in a stand off, he chose to charge again. He switched to his Gunblade and slashed at his opponent, swinging upwards.[/i]

Bedlam stepped a little back and lowered the shield enough to block the tip from pointing at him as his other hand revealed a flare gun that was hidden behind the shield. He fired said flare gun into Zane's face.

Luckily, it's really hard to hit someone with a sword when they have a large, round shield so Bedlam raised the shield to block that attack as well. Running out of ideas, Bedlam replaced the flare gun with a remote projectile detonator pistol thing from Halo 4. He fired the small sticky explosive at Zane's feet.

[i]The Plastic explosive stuck to Zanes left foot, and he notched his head as he looked at his opponent. He put away his gunblade and raised his fists, entering a traditional kickboxing stance. He dropped low to the ground and swept his left leg, aiming to knock Bedlam down. [/i]

Bedlam had his one foot swept away, causing him to roll to the side so he was now kneeling a few feet away. He raised the shield to cover himself before detonating the explosive.

[i]Zane was send flying back and rolled along the ground. His left leg armor was dented by the explosion, but still held strong. Bedlam could set faint blue hue envelope his opponent, Zane's shielding now coming back online. He hopped up and charged at his opponent, swinging his left arm as he formed a fist and came down on. Bedlam.[/i]

Bedlam stood back up, whacking the fist away with the shield and throwing his own punch with his other hand, arc lightning crackling around the fist.

Edited by Zane the 3rd: 12/17/2017 8:44:19 PM[i]With more grace than his opponent expected, Zane moved with Bedlams arm and spun. His shield broke from the lightning, but his systems withstood as he ended up behind his opponent. He quickly drew his gunblade, slashing at Bedlams back.[/i]

Bedlam cried out in pain as a long gash formed on his back before he rolled forward and quickly spun around to face Zane. The shield vanished, replaced by Dale's gauntlets as Bedlam got into a kick boxing stance of his own.

[i]Zane put away his gunblade and re entered his kickboxing stance, his fists raised as he bounced lightly on his feet. He kept his guard up as he bounced from side to side, waiting for his opponent to attack first.[/i]

[spoiler]REEEE[/spoiler] [i]Zane lunged forward as well, stepping to the right as he swung his left hand at Bedlams chest. [/i]

[spoiler]SCREEE[/spoiler] Zane just ran his face straight into a fist as Bedlam's kick was actually him doing something close to what's considered a "superman punch". Bedlam punched Zane right in the face the second he moved and then followed up with a cross and a jab. Then he'd grab at Zane's shoulders and throw up his knee into Zane's side. All of this happening in a few fluid and quick motions. [spoiler]Git wrekt by meh fightin' knawlodge[/spoiler]

[spoiler] Interesting[/spoiler] [spoiler]But you just activated my trap card[/spoiler] [i]Zane's shock absorbers helped dampen the flurry of attacks, and he suddenly grabbed onto Bedlams shoulders. He grinned from under his helmet, and Bedlam could tell something bad was about to happen.[/i] "Sometimes you gotta take a hit...to dish out a bigger one..." [i]Zane's gauntlets crackled with electricity, and his grip on his opponent tightened as he activated his taser setting. The goal wasn't to stun, but to activate the explosive costing that was laced on his opponents back. It did just that, and bedlams back burned and glowed orange as the explosion went off. [/i] [spoiler]Zane's gunblade is laced with an explosive compound that resides under the blade.[/spoiler]

He directly absorbed the electricity, none of it reaching his back. "I'mma firin' my lazar! BWAAA!!!" Bedlam opened his mouth and all the energy from the shock fired out as a concentrated beam aimed at Zane's head. [spoiler]Did you forget he can absorb that stuff?[/spoiler] [spoiler]Counter trap card![/spoiler] [spoiler]Also, so glad I could make that joke here lmfao[/spoiler]

[i]Given that Zane's armor was made to withstand blunt force, his opponents assult did nothing but annoy him. Also given the distance between the two, the laser was impossible to dodge. The beam collided with his body, sending him back flying and shutting off his systems once again. He planted his blade into the ground which halted him, and he let out a heavy breath.[/i] "Son of a bitch....Forgot that he could do that. Gonna have to do this the hard way." [i]He withdrew his blade from the ground along with his MP7 and began charging at his opponent.[/i]

"Hard way? That's no fun." Bedlam sprinted toward Zane, closing his eyes as he ran forward as if concentrating on something. Arcs of red electricity sparked across his body, his eyes having a faint glow.

[i]Zane raised his eyebrow in confusion. Lightning wasn't red, and if it was actual lightning it would have triggered the explosive compound laced onto his opponents back. He raised his MP7 and fired, sending a 5 round burst of hollow point rounds at Bedlam.[/i]

Bedlam seemed to phase out of reality for a second before reappearing directly in front of Zane, Zane's sword just inches from his face.

[i]Instead of attacking with his blade, he chose to leap over bedlam and fire at his back. If the bullets landed, it would not only tear into his body but trigger the explosive compound that was laced into his opponents wound.[/i]

[i]The bullets bounced off the barrier, and so did Zane. He rolled into the floor, raising his Gunblade as he chuckled.[/i] "What, it was worth a shot."

"Eh, I guess." Bedlam turned to face Zane again, arms in front of him in the shape of an 'x' over his chest. "This has been going on for a while now..."
