"That must've been scary," she noted, "How did you... end up here?"

“[b]Not sure. There was a flash of light, and then,[/b]” He shrugged calmly, “[b]I kinda just appeared here.[/b]”

"Oh? I got teleported here by the Vex. I stepped through the Gate, wound up here."

“[b]Any other Guardians here?[/b]” He asked hopefully, looking past her at the looming front gate of the Dojo.

"Probably. I came here to find my Mom..." Phoebe told him.

“[b]What’s her name? Probably haven’t heard of her, but maybe I knew her from my timeline.[/b]”

"Her name is Sarah Grey," Phoebe replied, "She went missing when I was five."

“[b]Well, I can try to help you find her, y’know, if you need it? It’s not like I have anything better to do at the moment. [/b] Ginger said kindly.

"Thank you! Thank you!" Phoebe exclaimed hugging Ginger.

“[b]Hey... you can thank me when we find her.[/b]” Ginger said, returning the hug gratefully.

Suddenly, Phoebe grabbed his hand as she sped around, looking for her mother.

“[b]Oh alright, I guess were just going straight into it then.[/b]” Ginger allowed her to lead him by the hand, following her through the unfamiliar landscape.

She ran fast enough that she was pratically dragging him.

“[b]So wait, do you know where we’re going?[/b]” Ginger asked, barely keeping up with his energetic partner.

"No clue! But we'll find her!"

“[b]... Sounds like a plan.[/b]” He said enthusiastically, his grip on her hand tightening slightly as he began to recover his stamina.

Phoebe knocked down a Hunter. They ran into a hunter wearing a complete set of bog gear. She yelled, "Hey! Watch the cloak!"

Ginger waved back apologetically to the first hunter, calling out to the second, "[b]Hey, nice cloak![/b]" to the second. Since the two had started running, he'd actually gained control of himself, to the point where he could keep up with Phoebe without too much difficulty. Titan's stamina. Taking advantage of the moment, he decided to get to know her better. "[b]So Phoebe,[/b]" he asked her, "[b]tell me about yourself. Have any hobbies?[/b]"

"I like reading. Drawing maps."

"[b]Guess I shouldn't be surprised that a Warlock reads in their spare time,[/b]" Ginger said jokingly, grinning as he did so.

"Yeah. Even the pragmatic ones read."
