"Hmm... you might have the wrong person as far as souls go. I don't really deal in that magical kind of stuff... I've literally invented something that deactivated magic in an area. As for the body, it would probably be based on my own DNA with a few changes."
She took a pencil in her hand and almost imidiately bark started to reform on it seeming to make a small tree in her hand. She tapped her chin with it thinking.
"Come to think of it, Victor is the leader of a cult that works on magic that imitates other forms of magic... Then there's the death girl that sometimes visits the cafe if your trying to tamper with soul redirecty stuff.."

*The shadow nods, seeping up the information* Alright. However I do believe you are the one he sent for... Being a member of the Dojo prior to this, many of the people he knows are already long dead, related to him, or cannot help him with what he is doing. Turning to you, a scientist who had spoken with him a few times, her knowledge impressing him as it far exceeded his, he figured that you could help in the more scientific and well-within-the-laws-of-physics-and-biology part, while he would be the primary one to deal with the more "magical" and abnormal parts. *His monologue finished, he stares in her eyes a moment, then shakes his head quickly, as if snapping himself out of thought* Why don't I escort you to him, and you two can talk business and finance.

"Escort me? To the underworld?" Ama's eyes widedned looking a bit unsure. She took a small disk no larger than a bracelet and slipped it into her pocket seeming to think of it as a precautionary measure similar to how one would expect someone might bring a knife to protect themselves in a shadey town. "Just know I'm bringing this with me"

She took her tablet off the table and stashed it away on an inside pocket on her lab coat and look at the odd doorway that opened up. "Huh" Was all she muttered before entering the area.

*She enters into a clean waiting room, some leather couches lining the walls. A large set of doors about seven and a half feet high stand before Ama and the shadow. The shadow walks up, and knocks on the door three times, causing them to open*

She had a hunch on who would be on the other side but she wasn't completely certain. Science to pull off a paranormal feat, it seemed like an interesting proposal at the least She thought. She decided to take the doors opening as a cue to enter.

*Inside, a man in a sharp suit and slicked back brown hair sat behind a mahogany desk, reading spreadsheets and letters on who knows what. He looks up with bright crimson eyes, a warm smile forming on his face as she enters the room. The room isn't too big, probably three hundred square feet, file cabinets lining the back room. No, ghosts are those little things that those warriors who rant about a "Traveler" have. No, what I have here is what is more referred to as a "Shadow Clone" and they're super helpful to do anything anywhere. *He takes a seat, eyeing over the documents again to make sure they're in their place* But I'm getting off-topic. Yeah, he should have mentioned something along the lines of that. It's complex, but on it's outside, I've been planning a way to completely negate having to go down to the Underworld, on account of my father holding a tighter grip after he realized I... liquidated some of his assets to build this place. It's not something I can do alone. *He pauses a moment, realizing he said too much in too little time. After taking a good breath in, he continues* My late best friend, Wit and I worked together to build the first prototype, but it required me to manually collect the souls that I needed, and creating the body required a LOT of stem cells and a large amount of host DNA of the person who died and some from himself and I. Since his death I couldn't make any progress on it.

It isn't the soul pipeline you were looking for but it seems a likely candidate to modify and see if it can be converted into some soul catching whatever"

God limiter, huh? Bet you've got clients chomping at the bit for that thing, huh? Even though logic can be skewed by perspective, I mean. Take the Salem Witch Trials of Earth, seeing witches as a logical answer. *He pauses, noticing that he is getting off topic* But does this only work on humans? I'm sure you have noted that Tatakai has many inhuman specimens, myself included; my blood is an extremely acidic substance that was slowly transfused into me. In the event that an inhuman being is to be revived, does your current technology help with that too?

It is a very similar process but the time varies a bit more due to the simplicity or complexity of the subjects genetic makeup. Though, even with all this data, there is one delema." She opened up a tab in the program which was a record for spisific templates for humans and several other species. While it had all the main species, there were a few missing and no records of creatures outside of Tatakai as the company the data was stolen from likely hadn't had enough contact with those creatures or were simply not interested. "Its a strong start, but there are some species that would need to be added to cover all possible beings. After that, in theory, even if the whole planet blew up and the machine was commissioned off planet, it could just recover all recorded subjects in just a few months."

That is incredible; I would certainly like to delve deeper into it should the time come, to see all of the genetic code attained by the minds responsible for this. It is certainly a great start in genetic manipulation, recreation, and distribution, but how do you propose this can be used as part of the reanimation system? Do you plan on using this as only a blueprint to recreate? And is there any way to insert any new strands of RNA in this program? I'm terribly sorry I am asking all of these questions so quickly; it's just that with my previous partner gone and my more... professional role, this is the first time in a while that I feel I can make real progress.

"As long as you don't plan on using it for its original purposes I don't mind explaining" Ama shrugged. She knew how far her concepts and knowledge went though simplifying things was never her strong suit. "For the most part, yes these are pretty much just blueprints of the basic structure for a DNA strand to different creatures and animals. I'd be infecting it with the rest of the information I got off of a strand of hair or a drop of blood to cut down on the amount of genetic material required and the time it would usually take."

That is... surprisingly efficient. With my last project it required some of their DNA from their corpse, but if the person was mummified or the body could not be found it raised problems. So, now that we have a start, let's talk numbers. I will allow proper funding as you see fit; I will also assist in funding your current project if you need to be wooed over. However I am going to need an estimate on the budget necessary to execute this. You will also be given a standard New Lux Spacial Transport Device, commonly known as a PST to do whatever you want with, whether to dissect and duplicate, or simply use to cut travel time, provided you are working efficiently and in compliance with our laws

Something about the last part didn't seem to sit right with Ama. She took a deep breath and got back into the subject nonetheless. "To sum it all up, in the ballpark of twenty-five million is the estimate to avoid any cutting corners. I know the device better than I'd like to so it will likely not need a test phase. Still, I'd highly recommend testing. It's more than just a 3D printer after all."

I will not, however, give it to you all in one sum, to prevent selfish reasons. All of this must be used for the purpose of this project. I will have my secretary write up some contracts to finish this. *He takes his phone off his desk, calling his secretary* Gladys, would you be able to write up a contract regarding document 076-A? Yeah, it should be in the Surveillance files... No, the Surveillance files. Yeah, there. 076-A. Alright. Thanks, bye. *He hangs up, facing Ama once again* Are you okay? She read through the paperwork, checking what rights to the device she'd have after the build, if there were limitations to where she could acquire needed material, along with ensuring it will strictly be used for its intended purposes. Mainly, she was making sure it wouldn't end up with the same results as the previous project where her and a few others were made purely with the intent to rent put to private militaries for profit.
