The citizens seemed relatively ignorant to her presence, seeming too preoccupied to really care. One thing that was noticeable now that they were closer. Their skin was smooth, like looking at a burn victim. It was almost somewhat haunting and yet, not surprising when looking at the town. Fire, so much of it engulfed the city. It became apparent. They weren't ignoring the girl because they didn't care, they were ignoring her because their eyes were likely scorched out or rendered not functional.
