When your so groggy in the morning you manage to type dodo three times in the search bar and disappoint yourself XD...(have to search the word Dojo to find this place on my phone)
The rings of the other world 2: mideval era It was turning night, most people were tucked away in their homes while the bars and cafes were handing out their last rounds. There was a peacfulnes looking out into the dark and seeing the occasional christmas decorations adorn through the houses. It was at this time the children were likely told it was time for bed. It was dark and there was little more to do. Though for one, there would be much. While a child slept, there was a creak of wooden floor, yet what was happening was simply terrifying. The wood warped and pulled away from itself, assuming the form of a strange and somewhat haunting creature. It coughed and coughed until a small white stick left its mouth. Chalk? At least it looked like it. "Sweet girl, would you mind walking outside? A door, could you draw a door please?" Being so young the child wouldn't have known any better and walked outside with the chalk the creature gave her. When she looked up, it was gone. She grabbed her coat and on the side of her house she did just as the creature said then ran back inside. A stiff breeze blew by and an oddity, the chalk door moved if ever so little from the breeze.
Open. +1 if you get the reference
• From afar it could have been mistaken for nothing more than a child's doodle though in a sense, it was exactly that. But closer, there seemed to be ever so small slits of light emanating from the door much like the lights on in another room would look. But the house, it had no lights on apart from the faint glow of a nightlight in a window of an upstairs room. It had no reason to have light on the other side and yet despite that being so, it did.

The drawing moved ever so slightly with the breeze. Seeming to slowly rock in and out though never quite fully opening. The doorknob was little more than a white circle from the chalk meaning a simple push could have opened the door to wherever it was that sat on then other side. Nothing about it made any sense yet there it was, sitting in front of the woman as clear as day.
Well Its night but Ehhh clear as night just doesnt sound Right
• despite her better judgement she had opened it just a tiny bit. Her curiosity getting the better of her. She also was very wary too unsure of what was lying on the other side.

  • From what could be deciphered, it looked to be a world sitting within the other side of such a strange door with walls forming ring after ring, looking more and more advance with every circle towards the center. A large stairwell led to a ring that seemed to represent a time of knights and chivalry. A kingdom followed with a castle that scrapped the clouds and stretched across a fairly decent amount of the ring that was its domain. The occasional knight and villager could be seen walking around though from such a distance, it was very hard to decipher one from another.

  • this was strange to her having never seen anything like it. Seeing how her world she was from was a little more primitive. She was still looking at them. She was a little unsure about stepping into this place though.

  • There was a slightly odd grayish pale complexion to the citizens that could be seen though at the distance, nothing more could be figured out. The stairway down was made of stone slabs seeming to match the rest of the material. Someone in white was seen passing though the doors to the castle. Whoever it was they seemed just as out of place as anyone who would have entered into a the world from the outside.

  • The citizens seemed relatively ignorant to her presence, seeming too preoccupied to really care. One thing that was noticeable now that they were closer. Their skin was smooth, like looking at a burn victim. It was almost somewhat haunting and yet, not surprising when looking at the town. Fire, so much of it engulfed the city. It became apparent. They weren't ignoring the girl because they didn't care, they were ignoring her because their eyes were likely scorched out or rendered not functional.

  • this unnerved her quite a bit seeing them like this as she walked past them. She wondered if they could even hear at all. This place had her wondering all kinds of things.

After a few passed by seeming oblivious even to wherenitnwas they were going there were two that stopped. One seemed human sized likely standing at a a meak five foot five looking emaciated and pale. But the other, he appeared as if he was part of the wall with how tall and broad he was. While the tall ones helmet ubstructed its eyes the shorter one did something the others didn't. It blinked and was looking right at the outsider. "Did he bring you here?" It had a frail voice seeming to match its withered body though it seemed to have no hindrance walking towards the figure that was surely new to them.

  • "I um.. found a door on the side of a house when was heading to home."says Keira she had looked up at the man seeing that she was smaller than her.

  • The giant stood silently, seeming to favor letting its smaller counterpart proceed with the talking. When his head moved at a certain angle it was noticeable only one of its eyes were cauturaized while the other still had the iris and pupal intact. No other details stood out though. The rest was obscured behind the heap of metal that acted as his helmet. "A maggot told me, someone, he would send someone to figure out who starts the fire every night. He wants to know, that's all he always wants." As if someone told the world to change, the blazing inferno seemed to vanish, the burns on the people faded as did the scorch marks on the walls. A few could be heard muttering as the walked by. They didn't approach directly but it couldn't help but be noticed there were a few curious glances cast over towards their new guest.

  • Keira would be able to tell this as her ears would swivel picking up the faintest of noises her hearing was surprisingly sharp and keen. As she would looking up to see the giant as she listens to him speak. "Look i can help im pretty good with tracking people down. But could tell where he struck last at least so i have to go on."says Keira she could see clearly that they needed help tracking this guy down.

  • "It's always different, sometimes it's the church during a ceremony, others when we sleep though there was always a smell of meat before the fire.." Was what the smaller one had to say. Unscorched, she looked almost human albeit its pale skin and the whites of its eyes being as black as the depths of an ocean.

Not that is a problem for me i can turn into a cat skulk around and see if i find that person."says Keira shapeshifting is Keira's go to for fast sneakimg around and spying not to mention she could go anywhere in the form of a cat. Cause who would really expect a cat?

  • "What an odd creature..." The smaller one said staring at the cat. From the looks they must have never seen a creature like a cat in their world. The larger one grunted before speaking. "Hmm.. time to line them up again... we always gather in town to figure out who has done it but by the time we get there, our memories are too foggy..."

  • as a cat she would be the size of a maine coon with those bright blue eyes of hers and solid black fur. Around her neck sat what looked like a collar with a crescent moon attached to it. She looked up at them in this form. "I should be able to detect the arsonist by smell if there setting fires they'll smell smoke or whatever they used to smell it."says Keira

  • "Smoke? Hmm, well the church has been known to burn food..." The look she got seemed as if they completely forgoten about the fire. Was this a continuous loop? If so, it made sense the would never catch the fire starter. It was a cycle, go to church, burn alive, question who could have done it, repeat. They walked into town along with most of the supposed citizens and like it was any Sunday, many of them, including the duo walked to the church.

  • From what could be seen there were a few particular standouts apart from the local houses. A funeral parlor of a sort could be seen with caskets being moved inside, an individual coming out of a store of some sort with a bloody apron on, an stable was nearby the church and then of course, the church itself. A somewhat older building yet there was some reminiscence of a time when it must have been a enchanting place. Elegant etching lined the slightly peeled paint of the wooden boards that made up the building and the inside seemed much similar with a slightly worn stand from and center with several large benches to the sides.

  • These didn't seem to strange but she did take the time to look. As she didn't want to rule anything out. Checking the stable near the church first as if anything it would be a very tempting spot to set a blaze if anything.

  • Nothing yet, though there was a cleaver with some blood on it very reminiscent to a slaughterhouse it didn't seem like something that should be within a stable, likely it was left behind by someone.

  • this gave her a little bit of a chill. As she seen the blood on it wondering why it was here. As she took a closer look sniffing the handle before looking around a bit more.
