John concentrated as much arc energy into his palm as he could, electrocuting the Ghost with all of the Light he had lefr over. He fell to his knees, breathing heavily as the energy died down seconds later.

 • >"-NO-!"< It was too late for Celkym to react, as the Ghost's shell was literally incinerated, exploding in a shower of sparks and metal. Celkym went still, for a moment, before she cries out, in pain. The Vex Guardian fell to the ground as if she had no legs at all, as she feebly attempted to move her arms. Even then, she could only scoop up the Vex eye with her right hand, staring down at it with the glass dome of her helmet. In.. silence. She was free, but.. something was wrong.

 • The Warlock weakly lifted his enough to look over at her. "I'm...sorry, but...you're free now. Aren't you?"

 • Celkym would only nod. Not speak, nor stand, as she began to try to pry off her helmet with one hand. The process was taking too long.. what was wrong?

 • "Y-You...okay?" John couldn't exactly stand either, too tired from fighting all day and trying to survive too many close calls.

 • Celkym finally gave up, only sighing as she would then nod towards John. She leaned up her body against a large vent upon the roof, breathing in quietly. It was as if she was limp. Helpless.

 • "Come on, hug." John struggled, but managed to get himself over to her and hug her...only to realize he didn't have the strength to hold both of them up.

 • The Vex Guardian would attempt the hug, groaning a little. The best that she could do was wrap an arm around John - the lower half of her body was motionless, and even then, it was as if the top portions of her being weren't even working. Yet John could feel the faint beating of a heart, somewhere within the Vex.

 • He held onto her and supported her the best hw could while slowly regaining strength. "Good...you do have a heart."

 • A heart. John would hear a muffled sniffle and a shaky sigh, as Celkym would nod. She would grip his back, her left arm and lower body seemingly functionless, as she brought herself against his being in the silent hug. John could hear the woman's teeth chattering quickly, as if she was freezing.

 • John hugged her a little tighter and brought his voice down to a whisper. "It's okay. I may not be in the best condition myself, but I'll protect you. You're safe with me. I'll do whatever it takes to help you through this."

 • The only way to know that she understood was through her nods, of which she did nod. Though getting to a warmer place would be the best for both of them.

 • "Let's get off this roof, okay?" John wrapped the girl's good arm around his shoulders while his wrapped around her and pulled her up as he stood. He'd walk off the edge of the roof, gliding down to the ground.

 • Celkym nodded, aa she would wrap her arm around John and move her being closer to the Warlock, as he would then float down. She seemed to be.. relying on him, for everything now. Everything other than bodily functions, she likely didn't even eat.

 • Upon softly landing, he'd start walking her into the nearest building, a generic bar because laziness. "It's okay, we're almost there."

 • "...Mmhm," Celkym would simply hum in response, looking upwards at the bar. As they found an empty booth to lay the crippled woman down. Celkym sighed once more, as helpless as ever. John could feel the need to remove her helmet, get a drink - the usual. Water, probably.

 • John called over to the bartender for some water as he began to remove her helmet, keeping her held close while doing so. "It's okay...you're safe."

 • Celkym nodded, as she released a wave of fresh air from her mouth as her face was freed. A few patrons had taken to caring for the apparently crippled woman, as John would get a view of his foe, now friend. An Awoken, was what Celkym was, albeit modified yet. Her neck down was contorted between metal and light blue skin and flesh, the remainder of her face humanoid and fleshed out. She was pretty to look at, like a chiseled statue of a Greek goddess, her face angular and strong. Short blue hair fell to the sides of her face, the tips of each strand dimly lit by the fading shades of light purple, as if they were beyond ancient. Her left eye, a solid cobalt color, looked up at John, a single thankful tear in her eye as she nodded; the right eye was of Vex origin, glistening with the dissipating blue energy that once fluctuated within.

 • He smiled down at her in a comforting manner, not moving from her side. He wasn't going to leave her unprotected. "Are you okay enough to speak?" He asked, not sure if she was mute.

 • Celkym would shake her head, as she motioned to lay her head against John, her one remaining eye allowing tears to be released. She sighed, repeatedly shaking her head as she tried to show.. affection, perhaps.

 • John leaned down and kissed her forehead as a sign of compassion as she rested her head on him. "Don't cry...smile. Life is good. You're free and alive!" He chuckled lightly.

 • Celkym sniffled a little, a feeble smile then appearing as she nodded. Her light cobalt face would blush a deep blue color in response to the kiss upon her forehead, though she would smile yet.

 • "There we go. That's a beautiful smile you've got there." John ran a hand through her hair. "Do you wish to sleep?"

 • The seemingly free, albeit helpless woman would think a little, before then nodding slightly, still attempting to smile yet. She seemed surprised at John's.. well, seemingly caring attitude. It was heroic, almost: to care for an enemy. To Celkym, anyway.

 • "Then why don't you shut your eyes and get some rest? I'll stay awake and watch over you. Sleep for as long as you like, I'll be patient." John turned his attention to those around him, looking out for the helpless woman.

 • The past Guardian would look up at John a little, smiling a little more at that before then closing her eyes. She would rest her being against John then, sighing a little to herself as sleep would overtake her. The bar seemed normal, afterwards. Except for some of the patrons beginning to leave, which would make John, Celkym, a waitress, and the bartender the last people within the bar. The lights began to flicker, only to be replaced by a red glare before returning to it's original gleam. It was hard to tell, but John could hear.. a humming, deep in the distance. Something was there, outside of the four people.
