The AI made some headway before it was repelled, causing the Initiate to curse as his motion-sensor mini-map fizzed out before reappearing showing fifty-two enemies all around. This was the extent to which the AI could go, though, finding each system protected by firewalls that grew smarter with each successive one it took down, becoming aware of the digital attack.[/i]
