As the cell door shut, Drake spat at the departing General in futility. Getting caught wasn’t usually something that happened to him, but then again, he didn’t have the ship or his crew at his back. With the wind at his back and the crew by his side, they would’ve fought their way through this damn Frontier corporation, before selling their gear on the black market. But something else was troubling him... Ever since he’d betrayed Alpha, Michael had been tortured by his own psyche. Did he really think that he was doing it to help protect her? Or was he just doing it to break even, to selfishly eradicate his former sins? Either way, her death (he doesn’t know that she’s alive) haunted him. He couldn’t go back to being the ruthless smuggler that he once was, not when he had people to look after. Before Caroline had come along, he was content with loneliness. Now, he needed to figure out the truth, and a mere cell wouldn’t contain him. Looking down at his restraints, Drake did a quick forensic scan of the access code with his prosthetic eye, and then began printing the “key” that he needed from the 3D printer in his wrist, concealed by carbon nanotube plating. After a few seconds, the pattern was finished, and with a bend of his wrist, Drake freed the restraints on his prosthetic arm. Rolling his shoulder, he reached across his chest and grabbed the restrain that was on his other arm, tearing it off with a loud grunt. The broken restraint clattered on the ground, too loudly for the guards to not notice. Thinking quickly, he ripped off the cuffs on his feet as well, and stood up. He probably didn’t have much time, so if he didn’t find anything by looking around the room, he’d have to try to get a guard’s attention. But hopefully there was an opening around here somewhere...

  • The cell was built for security, which meant it didn't contain any obvious openings in which to escape from. However, part of Nathan's plan would work, as the door slid open and a security guard came rushing in... "What the hell?"

  • The man promptly felt a hand slide over his mouth, and then saw a flash of light as Drake brought his metal fist crashing into the base of his skull, knocking the hapless security guard out. Drake slowly lowered his body to the floor, and then scavenged whatever weapons he could find on the guard’s body, as well as his radio, his “keys” (or access chips, whatever), and his ID. Without taking a second to look back at the cell, he exited, and closed the door behind him. Now came the fun part.

  • Micheal was now in a large, black hallway. The occasional group of troops patrolling where it intersected with another. Occasionally, there would be a sealed case built into the wall that held... robotics. It could be assumed that these units would activate if there was any sort of security breach. Whatever this place was, it was either some sort of underground base of a giant command ship...

  • Keeping an eye out for incoming guards, Michael went over to analyze the panel, looking for some sort of access panel. Thankfully he hadn’t triggered the alarm when he’s broken out of his cell, but maybe, just maybe, he could find a way to activate them... and then turn them on the guards.

He found one, but it looked extremely complicated. One wrong move... "WARNING: Subject 19 has escaped cell. Locking down block immediately." Large blast doors started to close, acting as a potential barrier if he couldn't bypass them. Some of those machines began to activate, giving him about five seconds to get out...

  •
Fun
Drake tried his hand at accessing it, using the guard's information in an attempt to authorize and reprogram the usage of the robotics.

  • "WARNING: Unathorized access of robotics control panel. Deploying counter units." One by one, they started to activate, attracting the attention of the guards. He had only a little time to get out of there before they started to attack.

  • "Heh... That's definitely what I meant to do." Drake said, backing away from the panel before he took off down the hallway. With that being taken care of for now, he had to pick one of two options: find some way to get the hell off the ship, or find Caroline, and manage to get her off the ship as well. Whatever Frontier's morbid fascination with his cybernetic friend was, it certainly didn't seem pleasant. Either way, he'd need to find a map. Some sort of directory so that he could find his bearings.

  • If he could make it, it might be possible for him to get to the security room on this floor. In there would most likely be a map of the ship, leading him to a central data center that would tell him what was going on and help him find Caroline...

  • It was worth a shot. Making his way quickly through the corridors of the ship, Drake anxiously attempted to make his way towards the data center. Who knows? Maybe there was other information that he could scavenge from this center.

  • If you actually did abandon this post, here:
Somewhere, wherever he was, Micheal Drake would suddenly receive a message. He couldn't recognize where it was from, but still it seemed... odd.
I'm lying on the moon My dear I'll be there soon It's a quiet and starry place Times we're swallowed up In space we're here a million miles away
Followed by... • He would make his way to this deck's security room, containing a pretty accurate map directory for the entire ship. Those access keys he had taken from the security guard might have been useful here...
