She would only save herself in a literally second, and yet the Vex still took damage. The Guardian was sent slamming back into the wall, arc shocking throughout her armored being. The Vex Guardian would cry out a little - a surprisingly humane yell - as she stared upon John, her face hidden by the glassy dome of her helmet.
>"Alright.. Stormcaller." She recited to herself quietly. It was.. odd.

"I'm far more than a Stormcaller, honey." Arc energy crackled and shot out from his being as an aura of it seemed to cover his whole body. He threw a hand outward towards the Vex Guardian, lightning flew from his hand and on to the enemy.
-
Celkym's pistol would suddenly fade away as she grabbed her knife, swinging upwards: the Void blade separated the lightning, as if it was beyond Light entirely. It was as if the lightning slowed, yet she sped up.. >"And I am far more than a Vex, darling."< Celkym said, twirling her knife as time returned to the norm.
-
"Hmm....We both have tricks." The arc kept crackling around him as he walked towards her. "Too bad you feel the need to kill me. I'd enjoy a talk with you."
-
>"You destroyed the G.. my Garden. You killed your own Traveler.."Celkym sighed, though she didn't suddenly lunge out. At least, not yet.
-
"I'm sorry I destroyed your garden, but I had to in order to save my people...same with killing the Traveler. I fight the Darkness, no matter how much people may hate me for it. Think about it. What's the true enemy of the Vex? The Light? No, it just wants to live in peace and fights in self-defense. The Darkness wants destruction. The Darkness can never have peace. I don't want to hurt you or your people...believe me." The arc energy died down as got into a less aggressive stance.
-
"The Vex corrupt - no, perfect - whatever they - we - touch and find.. that is what we do.. perfect." Celkym would murmur quietly, returning her hidden gaze to John. She was almost human. Almost, as she lowered her dagger a little. But she seemed prepared, yet. John had hit her weakness - her humanity, something that naturally fought against the Vex's control. She was still focused, if it was a trap..
-
"You don't have to perfect everything violently though....People want to improve, but when you wave a gun in their face they might become hesitant. Think of all the lives you've ruined. The families torn apart because you've killed parents and children. None of that has to happen. It may take time for people to want to be changed, but you guys don't have to worry about time, do you?"

"I didn't.. I didn't-" The female voice, as if it was about to break, would suddenly grow deep and hateful with a humming roar, as she brought up her knife and slashed at the Warlock's throat, the Void edge glistening with a destructive glare.
-
The warlock barely leaned back in time to not have his throat cut wide open as he took a quick step back and used it to push off the ground and blink on top of the building ahead. "I tried being friendly!"
-
"Friendly? Your conviction and false words are friendly?" That sinister metallic tone would take over once more, as the Hunter would literally begin to scale the wall. Her physical agility and dexterity would kick in, as she would climb the very walls of the alleyway in order to reach the Warlock. John was right. These Vex were incredibly dedicated.
-
"I'm telling the truth! We can be friends! No one has to get hurt!" John shrugged, realizing he could just blink building to building like an *sshole to get away...which he now did. The warlock teleported rooftop to rooftop as fast as he could.

Edited by Weeaboo Of War: 12/5/2017 12:00:01 PM>"That could- That isn't how this works!"< The humming returned, yet suddenly cut off amongst a mangled, feminine "No!" as John would catch sight of the Vex Guardian suddenly appeared in front of him, shifting throughout the Nexus and breaking throughout reality. It seemed to be taking a toll on her, yet she raised her right hand in a sign of attempting peace, the left tightly wrapped around a Vex Ghost that was trying to break free. >"Celkym-"< The thing muttered, trying to escape.
-
"I have no guns, knives, anything. I just want peace." He took her hand, hoping she wasn't about to kill him. "Friend."
-
>"Yeah, I.. I get that. Friend."< The Vex Guardian would nod, still clutching the Ghost tightly within her hand, as if the thing was attempting to break free. This was likely the source of her.. corruption, one could say. Yet also.. her salvation. >"...Celkym."<
-
"Please understand..." John took notice, he attempted a quick grab at the ghost to take it out of her hand.
-
>"Huh? Are you- grabbing my bооb-!"< Celkym yelled out a little, as her grip slipped on the Ghost. The thing would attempt to break free, only to be caught within John's grasp. The Ghost's red eye blared with hateful energy, as it's voice escaped it's "mouth". >"Celkym - help me, Celkym-"< >"What are you doing?!"< The Vex Guardian, perhaps out of fear, had accidentally summoned her knife. >"Y-You'll.."<
-
John concentrated as much arc energy into his palm as he could, electrocuting the Ghost with all of the Light he had lefr over. He fell to his knees, breathing heavily as the energy died down seconds later.
-
>"-NO-!"< It was too late for Celkym to react, as the Ghost's shell was literally incinerated, exploding in a shower of sparks and metal. Celkym went still, for a moment, before she cries out, in pain. The Vex Guardian fell to the ground as if she had no legs at all, as she feebly attempted to move her arms. Even then, she could only scoop up the Vex eye with her right hand, staring down at it with the glass dome of her helmet. In.. silence. She was free, but.. something was wrong.
-
The Warlock weakly lifted his enough to look over at her. "I'm...sorry, but...you're free now. Aren't you?"
-
Celkym would only nod. Not speak, nor stand, as she began to try to pry off her helmet with one hand. The process was taking too long.. what was wrong?
-
"Y-You...okay?" John couldn't exactly stand either, too tired from fighting all day and trying to survive too many close calls.
-
Celkym finally gave up, only sighing as she would then nod towards John. She leaned up her body against a large vent upon the roof, breathing in quietly. It was as if she was limp. Helpless.
-
"Come on, hug." John struggled, but managed to get himself over to her and hug her...only to realize he didn't have the strength to hold both of them up.
-
The Vex Guardian would attempt the hug, groaning a little. The best that she could do was wrap an arm around John - the lower half of her body was motionless, and even then, it was as if the top portions of her being weren't even working. Yet John could feel the faint beating of a heart, somewhere within the Vex.
-
He held onto her and supported her the best hw could while slowly regaining strength. "Good...you do have a heart."
