Jason took the time to pull the magazine out of his sniper rifle, the actual gun held in between his right arm and his side while he worked on loading another six bullets into the mag, filling it back up since he still had four rounds left. After, he slid it back into the gun, a smirk widening across his lips. With a slight hum, his shield came back online, a blue haze washing over him for just a moment before it seemed as if nothing had ever happened. In truth, he just had to avoid getting hit with another lightning bolt to the face and he'd be absolutely fine. He slid his Barrett into his satchel, pulling his SAW back out of it after, his left hand pulling his energy-saber from his lower back. He then hopped down from the rack, unceremoniously landing in the same "alley" Amanda had been in only moments earlier, meaning that if she was still there and going sneeki breeki... he'd likely see it.

  • He didn't find anything, the alley empty for the most part. // Jason landed the alley over, thankfully. She drew back then, having another shock arrow prepped. She wasn't foolish, knowing the man most likely retreated to reload and get his shielding back or more. With the arrow fully drawn, she let it fly, aimed for the scalded part of his armor, knowing that it would deal the most damage there. Having fired it between a few boxes at him. Then, two seconds after, she hit the button, giving enough time for if the arrow hit, his shielding to drop. Once more, he stepped into a trap, as thermite was blown everywhere, the explosives wrenching metal apart and sending it scalding over Jason and the wall next to him, a torrent of fire unleashing once more as the first wall buckled and the section began to collapse.

  • He only had two seconds, but those two seconds were enough -- very barely, but enough nevertheless. Jason's energy shield flared up in navy blue when the arrow was fired, hitting him in the moment his attention was elsewhere. He wasn't stupid either, his body moving before he had even really fully processed what was happening. He vented the excess energy to his thrusters, boosting himself away from the arrow while it was still falling to the ground. His SAW hit the ground the moment the shock arrow did the same. The plasma blade of his energy-saber had appeared at the same time. the Russian brutishly cleaved and rammed his way through the rack into the same alley Amanda was in when everything exploded where he had only just been. The super soldier he was going up against was invisible to the eyes, certainly, but she was on his HUD, or more specifically... his motion tracker. His knock-off lightsaber was gripped within both hands, his boots skidding across the stone ground as he so suddenly shifted his direction, though he kept steadily on his feet. He threw himself right into melee range.

  • The woman uncloaked just behind him, his wild movements making his efforts wild and unpredictable. Only he had himself fully turned around. The shield formed on her arm again, as her own thrusters roared, the second he landed, she flew forward at him.

  • He, however, had never left the floor, leaving him as combat ready as ever. When Amanda uncloaked behind him, he only smirked, a glint in his unseen eyes. The woman would boost herself head-first into her opponent's energy-saber as Jason turned around at the last moment, blade raised and pointed forwards, aimed for the right side of his foe's body, there where she was unprotected by her towering shield. He fastened his stance, steadied and ready, grip firm and his mind calm, as sharp as it could be, combat drugs flowing through his veins as his stim-injector finally activated, even if he despised using it. Amanda was a tough foe who was taking his all - or at least a lot - and so, he took to this.

  • Amanda's body was angled slightly, the blade glancing off the curved shield, as she kept coming at him. If it worked, the blade would be trapped between him and the shield, hopefully singed or anything else. She flipped over him then in a wild arc, landing on her feet behind him. The woman shot her sword skyward again in the movement, another loud, deafening boom heard as it electrified again.

When the energy-saber's plasmatic blade glanced off of the shield and to Amanda's left side, Jason's smirk turned into a wide, wolfish grin as he went along with it, twisting to the side so that he slipped by the woman, his sword now coming in from behind her, horizontally cutting at her midriff, the closeness of the two warriors making the slash nearly impossible to dodge.

  • The shield was still a problem, one he would have to find a way around. Although the tip glanced her shielding, making it flare orange then. She retaliated, shooting her arm out with the shield, pushing it into him. Then she pushed it left, swiping her electrified sword at him, aiming for his torso or arm. She was aiming to disable the saber, and land a hit when she could The only issue was that in melee, his drugs would be useless. She moved in blurred visions, faster than the normal eye could keep up with.

  • His drugs were massively helpful, on the contrary, as they worked in perfect tandem with his ocular cybernetics, his reflexes as sharp as a knife edge, Amanda seeming to move in slow motion for him, while his own strength and speed were amplified. The drawback was that the drugs and adrenaline muted and muffled that cautious voice in the back of his head. In short, it drove Jason far over the edge, his focus completely and ytterly on winning the fight. His energy-saber deactivated for just a moment as he was shoved aside by Amanda's shield, the nanites that still covered that side of his body sizzling noticeably, meaning that... his shields were off. He went along with the shove to some extent, the boosters on his lower body and legs activating, thrusting them to the left and into the direction of the sword, while his upper body went into the opposite direction. He landed on his side, quickly rolling away from Amanda, energy thrusters launching him back onto his two feet. His sword activated once more, the blade brutishly sent cleaving at Amanda in a diagonal strike, from the top right to the bottom left, hard and furious. It was a noticeable change in his fighting style, how he'd gone from thoughtful to... this.

  • She angled the shield again, catching the blade against the shield as she shoved herself forward. If this worked, it would be amazing. Keeping the sword to his side, she opened a hole in his defense, a click heard then, the Bushmaster on her shoulder priming and then firing; loud thumps heard as the shortened barrel halved its accuracy, yet at close range, it didn't matter.

  • When Amanda burst forwards after blocking the strike, Jason was shoved back, though in his massively drugged state, it all hardly mattered since he'd think a way around it, no doubt. For the millionth time, his jump-kit activated, boosting him to the side only to rocket once more, to behind Amanda, Bushmaster trained on him the entire time, pelting him with the .50 BMG rounds. They dented his armour, but failed to pierce, though that was undoubtedly only for now as the plating started to cave in. He attacked again, sword thrusting at the mounted gun that had only been a pain.

  • She spun around, opposite of him to put the shield up first, although not fast enough as the sword cleaved off part of the barrel. It could still extend, but not as far as before now. With the shield back up between the two, she kept the gunfire on him, while she pulled an arrow, the item still collapsed, and primed it, throwing it like a grenade at him Hitting the button on her bow, it exploded into a cloud of thermite at him, forcing him to retreat a bit, or face burning his armor further. Amanda backed up, the Bushmaster going off in busts to keep accuracy now, its ammo reserves burning through, but for a good cause.

When Amanda backed away, Jason pushed up, the thermite burning and scorching his armour while the bullets continued to pelt it, if with significantly less accuracy and muzzle velocity both, the damage they could ever do greatly reduced because of it. He was smiling like an edgelord maniac as he only pushed himself further and further, rhe dosage of drugs he was getting increasing just a tiny amount. He was hammering his opponent's shield with hopeless, careless abandon, striking it hard and fast, again and again, planning on shattering it so he could get to finishing Amanda off. It was very clear now that most rational thought was gone as he pounded the hardlight, his smile contorting into a scowl, the force behind each strike intensified by his massively enhanced strength and energy thrusters both. In short, it was very much akin to getting rammed by a freight train, again and again, in rapid succession, even as the Russian's armour broke apart.

  • The woman kept it up, counting on his armor giving way before her shield shattered. It was slowly turning colors, its normalize orange hue slowly turning red now. She still had her sword powered, and with the fact thermite was eating away at his armor, and point blank rounds where pelting him, something had to give.

  • The thermite quickly extinguished as it usually did, however, and with how thick his armour was - so much so that the thermite had only eaten into the extraordinarily heat-resistant, ceramite outer layer - he continued to last, rhe bullets mostly ineffective in getting through the many layers he wore. In the meantime, he kept pounding away with brute force, each strike impossibly hard as he pushed the advantage.

Her form flashed, as she was still standing there, holding him off. // Amanda setup another clone, knowing that she could hold him off, but now though the shield would crack much quicker. She cloaked then, further weakening the clone. She snuck around him quickly, taking the moment he was focusing on the shield as the distraction, going to a decent range as she swapped the sword for the bow, pulling a plasma tipped arrow. In his brutish ways he wouldn't notice the difference, the shield rapidly turning from orange to full red, then to a purplish color. She drew back then, aiming for the area between his head and neck, and let the arrow fly.

  • Jason smirked once more when Amanda started moving, the vibrations she caused with her every movement making her appear on his motion tracker. The arrow did the same. He violently spun around at the very last moment, his energy-saber striking the arrow, cleanly cleaving off the plasmatic tip, which he then dodged by simply moving his head out of the way. Ignoring the clone, he broke into a sprint, running for Amanda with a viperous grin, knowing where she was because of that gorgeous gadget of his. The woman wouldn't know, however, and it would undoubtedly leave her incredibly confused as to how the Russian knew where she was, let alone managed to avoid getting hit by the arrow. As far as she knew, he was just some incredibly fast guy, since his cybernetics and combat stimulants were both as secret as the gadgets he had up his sleeves. "Stop with the hiding already," His voice crackled through the silence, tone exaggerated and followed be a delighted laugh.

  • She had already guessed he had a motion tracker, it was a given in most powered armor. Once he spun, the clone dropped the shield, as some of Amanda's returned now, popping back into place over her body. The clone ran after him then, leaping once he stopped to jump on him. Amanda swapped weapons now, pulling a rather big weapon, which unfolded, into a rather massive sword, yet she wielded it like it was nothing. She backed up then, pulling a dagger to go with it, the dagger hooked in a tight arc, it was hard to tell why.

  • The sword and dagger combo, while interesting, was not what he was currently busy with... in fact, it seemed as if the real Amanda had lost the man's attention entirely and utterly, his brain racing as he... well, got ganked. He had never quite stopped, however, though he certainly did when he heard the clone jump at him. He stopped himself in his tracks by activating the ferromagnetic soles of his boots with a mental command, his energy thrusters giving a quick boost to keep him from falling over. A blink later, his soles deactivated as he turned around in an instant, energy-saber raised, the tip pointed at the leaping hardlight fake. It had happened in a mere second, the man going from full sprinting to dead stop in the blink of an eye. First, his back faced the clone, then so suddenly, she was about to impale herself on Jason's discount lightsaber, the real Amanda still a good seven meters away from them both. In the time it would take for her to do something with that sword of hers, the clone would've already been impaled, really. Unless she could move in the middle of the air when the plasmatic tub of the blade was only inches away from her solar plexus.

  • The real Amanda launched herself forward, the massive blade igniting in a powerful fire as her jets activated, slinging her forward faster. She lowered herself then, the dagger catching into the grounds becoming an anchor and pivot point, singing her a full 360°, the massive sword sent in a wide arc at him. Its size meant it clipped the nearby metal stands of the walls, cleaving through them easily. The massive blade, thick with a blood red fire, was sent towards his midsection, hard to avoid with its speed and length. // The hardlight clone impaled itself on his saber, but being hardlight, well it didn't matter where it was stabbed. What mattered was shattering it. Once impaled, it grabbed his arms in response, forcing him to hold still, while Amanda behind him pulled off an unholy stunt.

  • In truth, all he needed was to move the clone a bit to the side... ...or, he could pull of an equally as unholy stunt as Amanda was... Jason knew this, a smirk on his lips. His thrusters activated for the trillionth time in the fight while he simultaneously pushed himself off of the ground, his body turning as the boosters changed directions. His legs bent at the knees as his move was finished, leaving him upside down with his face towards the real Amanda, though he was out of harms was, too. Due to the size difference between the super soldiers, the point where the close was impaled was higher than the Russian's midriff, leaving the blade to very likely hit and perhaps even shatter the hardlight close due to its sheer length and size both -- it'd leave Jason to fall, but he could compensate, no doubt. He groaned as he balanced himself, the whole move possible only because the clone grabbed him. For a tank, he was annoyingly acrobatic.

  • The clone dissipated while he did so, leaving him tumbling in the air as Amanda came full circle with the massive blade, then used her thrusters to shoot up to a standing stance, flip sideways, and arc the massive blade vertically now, bringing it in his direction once more in a top down way. With him in the air, it would be hard to do about anything until he landed.

  • It would have been if he didn't still have his jump-kit, the boosters activating with a quick, powerful burst to bring him out of harm's way. He twisted his body as he flew, feet and right hand hitting the ground and slowing his skidding, Amanda no doubt having finished his strike by then. He rose up from the ground, a grin on his lips as he spun his energy-saber in his left hand, the tip caressing the ground, leaving a deep, scorched gash.

  • Amanda was already upon him again, the woman adopting a very hard to counter pattern, the massive sword being impossible to block alone. She was flying forward again, the dagger scraping the ground as she swung in the arc once more, sword flinging at him. Her thrusters roared again, reversing her course once she went full circle, the sword swung in the opposite direction then.

  • The flame-coated blade was met with ionised plasma both times it was swung, Jason's knees bent and his form braced for the impact. The first time, the impact was enough to get a soft grunt out of him, but since the strike changed course so quickly, the strain was pretty low. The second impact was vastly different, however, earning Amanda a slight groan, while the Russian's feet slightly skidded back, the rough underside of his metal boots tearing the ground open. In truth, the woman's blade would undoubtedly be worse for wear, hit twice by a blade "burning" at fifty-thousand degrees Celsius, being pressed up against it the second time.

  • The fire surrounding it burned nearly as hot, and the blade itself absorbed the rest of the heat. She kept going, not even slacking as she stood to her full height now, spinning again with the blade as she swung it at him once more.
