Somewhere on Tatakai Of Nature's Wrath... A small village in the world of Tatakai was ruled over by a warlord. He was a vicious man, taking his peasants more than many could afforded ruling with an iron fist. His fortress was near the water, meaning g the only way to approach was from the air, through the water to to attack headfirst on land. Nokomis' answer to this question was yes. A battalion of stone, wood and metal golems marched towards the fort, catching their enemy by surprise as they seemingly appeared from the Earth, firing upon the guards. Their job was to cause a commotion up front, draw enemies out. The heavy machine guns fired off 20 gauge explosive slugs, decimating the human enemies. Soldiers fired off 12 gauge blast slugs from rifles, doing the same. The battlefield was alive with blasts all over, and as the enemies were drawn out, they'd realize that the wrath of a god was upon them. Around the back, in the ocean water, aquatic squadrons swam undetected. They silently slayer the guards around their side, waiting for their time to join in the fray. Some of the golems were plain, looking like statues with no details done on them. Others were decorated as of Michelangelo himself had made them, others painted and decorated that way. They claimed the walls, and drew their guns as the wait in ambush. As soon as the enemies got out, the skies came alive with cracks of gunfire, what looked like angels of wood and stone swooping down to fire or toss grenades down. They fired into the small targets, lighting up the fortress from above, keeping the enemies pinned down. This was the signal the swimmers had been waiting for. Scaling up the walls, they jumped from their spots, the enemies cover turning into their own captors as they were lit up by more explosive rounds. The first ones through the doors though, were the Warpaths. Golem of wood with fire burning on them: around their head, out of their joints, nearly looking like the burning bush from the bible. They dashed in the doors with their Carbine shotguns and melee weapons, decimating the remaining resistance inside. The enemies had crumpled quickly, then again they had not been ready to deal with the threat. Who would expect to fight golem, and even less for them to be organized and sneak up on you? The warlord was apprehended, handed off to the town for punishment, as the army paraded him through the streets. They saw the golems walk, the same size and shape as male and female military soldiers, some barren of detail, others looking like Norsemen, gladiators, inhuman creatures and more. On the aftermath of the battlefield afterwards, a temporary camp would be set up, housing the golem and their controllers inhabiting the place for now. They welcomed people to come meet the PMC, learn about them and possibly join Nokomis. They invited the town they had saved from a warlord to celebrate the victory with them, as well as any others who wished to come. Many soldiers moved crates, chatted, repaired golem and drank to celebrate the victory.
Open. Depending on your intro I'll have a character interact with you, though if you want one from a specific battalion just ask. 1st battalion are normal foot soldiers. 2nd are lighter geared but more aggressive. 3rd are heavy weapons battalion, metal golems and heavy launchers 4th are the aquatic battalion 5th is the aerial battalion 6th are the Warpaths, the crazy mofos in the last paragraph. Generally the wildest bunch.
• "Well that's cause we're all adrenaline junkies. We know we've got one of the higher mortality rates in Nokomis, but we're more than happy to run ablaze straight at the enemies. Then again, you see a flaming creature with a shotgun and your first reaction generally isn't 'hold your ground' is it?"

 • "Most people would run screaming, I'd imagine." Bedlam laughed a bit more. "Luckily, I'm not most people."

 • "Most people DO run screaming. And then they get shot, makes them really easy to find." He said laughing a bit. "though I know some of these guys wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the golems. Running head first at the enemy as a human is a lot scarier than with a golem. I'd know, I've done both."

 • "Hmm. The giant golems would provide nice cover. They're like tanks back in World War 1..." He thought out loud.

 • "If those things could crush cars and fire explosives." He said laughing a bit. "Cmon, I'll let you get an up close look at a golem if ya want."

 • "Oooh! Can I ride it too?!" He said, jokingly with a laugh. "Sure, man. Thanks."

 • "No problem. And unfortunately, you can't operate the golem. Takes a good deal of time to create the mental link, and it's one per golem." He said as he began to walk, waving Bedlam over. A few of the others, including the man he fought, would join them. The green skinned man spoke "Well, 'nless you're Legion."

 • "Legion?" Bedlam followed Tyvos, closely. "Sounds important."

 • "Hes a damn nut job." Another one of the men would say, sounding like he was from Boston. Ty would walk backwards, speaking to Bedlam. "Dudes actually crazy, multiple personality disorder. None of them seem overly dangerous to other soldiers though. And where most soldiers can only connect to one golem, he can operate an entire squad y himself. Eight golem controlled by one man. I've seen them operate. Scary crap. Plus he doesn't get effected by Lashback either."

 • "Lashback? Goddamn this whole thing is turning into a vocab lesson..." Bedlam groaned in annoyance. "What's Lashback? Getting tired from using golems?"

 • Ty laughed a bit. "Nah mate. When someone shatters a piece of a golem, say the arm for example, the pilot feels a good deal of what that'd be like. Think of it as magical kickback, except way worse. Now, you usually keep a healer on standby with each squad to make sure they can be stabilized and saved, but sometimes they end up either losing the part or it's too much for them and, well, you get the picture there."

 • He nodded. "Yeah, I get it. I'd see how that's a huge advantage of his."

 • "Yep. All of us have been hit with it before and we know it hurts like a bïtch. Green bean over there's even had it in the head, knocked him out for 3 weeks, they didn't think he'd recover." Ty said, gesturing to the man he fought. The green skinned one spoke again. "Damn well missed my two weeks of leave cause of that."

 • "You lose your leave? You guys have pretty sh*tty conditions here then. If anything it should've been paid leave..." Bedlam sighed. "Not any of my business though."

 • "No, we get paid leave. I was in recovery during that time though. I was quite literally knocked out." The green skinned man said, more matter of factly than anything. Ty would chime in again. "Honestly, conditions are pretty good. Paid leave, free medical and dental, the works."

 • "Hmm..." He shrugged, continuing to follow. "What do you guys do for fun besides fighting?"

 • "Depends on the person really." The third man would say, the Boston sounding one. It was a human, his skin lighter and his hair blonde. "Munch over hear does what he always does: eat. Whether it's eating a diner out of business or one of the locals depends." He said teasingly. "Shut up, why'd I waste time when I could be tearing good food." Ty would respond. "Real talk, like I said, most of us are adrenaline junkies. Off leave, we'll screw around throwing knives, running drills or modifying our golem like slot of the other soldiers round here. Don't think they make themselves looks so nice, do you?" He said. A metal golem looking like a crusader passed by, highly detailed

 • "It's not too hard to get it back if you aren't stupid." The blond would say. "Measure out the golem with some wax paper, trace the designs on their first, then work it all in. Rarely ever a whole golem that's destroyed either, so usually most of the work is retrievable."

 • "Don't worry, my squad's tent is right here. Golem is just behind." He said. He lead them around the tent, and thee stood the golem. Jt was a wood one, though the inside was lined by stone. The design looked demonic, a shark-face grin on it, smiling like a madman, the body having holes carved into it and designed to look very humanoid. The amount of detail was astounding. "There she is."
