Of Nature's Wrath...
A small village in the world of Tatakai was ruled over by a warlord. He was a vicious man, taking his peasants more than many could afforded ruling with an iron fist. His fortress was near the water, meaning g the only way to approach was from the air, through the water to to attack headfirst on land. Nokomis' answer to this question was yes.
A battalion of stone, wood and metal golems marched towards the fort, catching their enemy by surprise as they seemingly appeared from the Earth, firing upon the guards. Their job was to cause a commotion up front, draw enemies out. The heavy machine guns fired off 20 gauge explosive slugs, decimating the human enemies. Soldiers fired off 12 gauge blast slugs from rifles, doing the same. The battlefield was alive with blasts all over, and as the enemies were drawn out, they'd realize that the wrath of a god was upon them.
Around the back, in the ocean water, aquatic squadrons swam undetected. They silently slayer the guards around their side, waiting for their time to join in the fray. Some of the golems were plain, looking like statues with no details done on them. Others were decorated as of Michelangelo himself had made them, others painted and decorated that way. They claimed the walls, and drew their guns as the wait in ambush.
As soon as the enemies got out, the skies came alive with cracks of gunfire, what looked like angels of wood and stone swooping down to fire or toss grenades down. They fired into the small targets, lighting up the fortress from above, keeping the enemies pinned down. This was the signal the swimmers had been waiting for. Scaling up the walls, they jumped from their spots, the enemies cover turning into their own captors as they were lit up by more explosive rounds.
The first ones through the doors though, were the Warpaths. Golem of wood with fire burning on them: around their head, out of their joints, nearly looking like the burning bush from the bible. They dashed in the doors with their Carbine shotguns and melee weapons, decimating the remaining resistance inside. The enemies had crumpled quickly, then again they had not been ready to deal with the threat. Who would expect to fight golem, and even less for them to be organized and sneak up on you? The warlord was apprehended, handed off to the town for punishment, as the army paraded him through the streets. They saw the golems walk, the same size and shape as male and female military soldiers, some barren of detail, others looking like Norsemen, gladiators, inhuman creatures and more.
On the aftermath of the battlefield afterwards, a temporary camp would be set up, housing the golem and their controllers inhabiting the place for now. They welcomed people to come meet the PMC, learn about them and possibly join Nokomis. They invited the town they had saved from a warlord to celebrate the victory with them, as well as any others who wished to come. Many soldiers moved crates, chatted, repaired golem and drank to celebrate the victory.
Open. Depending on your intro I'll have a character interact with you, though if you want one from a specific battalion just ask.
1st battalion are normal foot soldiers.
2nd are lighter geared but more aggressive.
3rd are heavy weapons battalion, metal golems and heavy launchers
4th are the aquatic battalion
5th is the aerial battalion
6th are the Warpaths, the crazy mofos in the last paragraph. Generally the wildest bunch.
Hearing of this battle, Cain coldbourne would become curious. Combat has changed drastically over the large period of time he had...skipped, to keep it simple. He summoned his steed, took to the saddle and took off at an incredible speed, comparable to that of some modern super cars. He was donned in his large suit of armor, but to him it was as light as a sheet. He was used to operating quickly like a storm trooper no matter what he had on. Upon arriving at the camp, Cain would look around before disembarking his steed. With a soft pat on the side of the beasts body, the skeletal horse faded away as he observed.
-
The camp was bustling with activity: Golem and people moving crates and chatting, people drinking, some being a bit crazier (though it was mainly the Warpaths and a few others). Those who were soldiers were easier to tell apart from the regular civilian as they donned military fatigues either fully or partially. They were grey uniforms, in a urban camo fashion, some wearing full shirt pants and boots, while others donned just the pants and a white t-shirt. What they all had though, was a dark green band around the arm with a symbol that looked like a native mask with three claw marks going through it, the symbol for the PMC. Nearby some say at a table in drank, the most noticiable being a man with blue skin and green dreadlocked hair and the man next to him, sharing stories with civilians. Another with a wood golem of very light birch wood which matched his skin tone lifted a kid onto its shoulder, as he laughed a bit, before setting him down. The man had short cut, red hair. The sound of a brawl could also be heard where a crowd had gathered. There was also a woman off with some civilians as well, her shoulders covered by what seemed almost like a pancho as she chatted with them.
-
Cain would eye around, before approaching the woman. He would tap her on the shoulder, trying to get her attention.
-
The woman's skin st the moment was a reddish pink colour, bright and vibrant. Her kind would change their colour depending on excitement, clearly happy st the moment. Her hair was masculinely short, as was military standard though she liked It that way, a deep purple coloration to it. It was nearly black. The shawl over her shoulder was a dark grey, looking like figure one in this picture https://imgur.com/a/y0bHk, under this a white sleeveless t-shirt on her body and the uniform pants. She turned as she was tapped on the shoulder, revealing what appeared to be a smaller chest but toned limbs. "Can I help ya love?" She said, a fainter British accent on her voice. She wouldn't call it that, not being British but from another world
-
“I was curious as to what was going on here?” Cain would ask. “I’m aware this is a military encampment of the sort, but I am unaware of what it stands for.”
-
"We're called Nokomis, in the most basic sense we're a PMC." She said. "No, we aren't just mercs who're gonna work for any criminal who throws us a credit or two. We work legal, we work effective, and we make sure the bad guys are scared of us." She said laughing a bit. "Nokomis is the wrath of the life giver. And what one giveth with one hand, they taketh with the other."
-
“....life giver?” The ashen haired man would ask, scratching the top of his head. “Who’s that, exactly?”
-
"Eh, it's a whole myth that the company was kind/ built on with the golem. They were originally made by people on earth in a place called Africa, they created these creatures to help them fight off invaders. They said they were given life by their equivalent of Mother Nature, or as they called her, Nokomis. Now we use the name and the golem to give the impression we're an unstoppable force of nature."
-
“A good slogan AND intimidation tactic.” Cain would compliment. “So, you are all here on a mission then?”
-
"We were hired to deal with those assholes, though generally after one job on a planet more spring up so we tend to stick around for a bit." She would say. It was the truth, she had seen many planets before: frozen solid ones to those that burned with the heat of a thousand suns "Its nice in a way, Get to travel and see many different worlds. Same respect though, sucks cause you can greatly anchor in somewhere."
-
“...Right.” Cain would response, almost with an unsure tone in his voice. “Well, it seems like you won’t be needing any help. That said I’m willing to assist if need be.”
-
"We've usually got any jobs covered, but hey, we're always looking to hire if that's what you mean. If you can fight and are willing to go through the work to become a fighter, and obviously physically can, we welcome you with open arms."
-
Cain would look around the camp one more time, as he he was sizing it up. “Yes, I’ll manage.” He answered. “Tell me where you’ll need me.”
-
"You aren't just hired on the spot pal. Besides, I'm not the boss. Then again, I'm pretty sure Plate's around here somewhere..." She said, looking around for someone, though it seeming to see him
-
“Plate? That’s an...interesting name.” Cain would comment as he looked around as well, even though he had no idea what he was looking for.
-
"Nickname a good few of us have for him. Long story short, someone tried to kill him, threw him out of a building and nearly killed him, and they had to put a shit load of metal plates in his head to hold his skull together."
-
“I...how would they fit plates in his head?” Cain asked, confused. “Were they small plates? Like...appetizer dishes?”
-
A lone space-fighter flew over the carnage and camp, constantly doing recon strafing runs over the place. It continued to circle, nothing identifiable on it except its black paint and Arrow symbol. It was heavily armed, and it seemed more than a match for the aerial golems of stone and wood. However...it just circled around.
-
Discretely around the edges of the camp flak cannons would be readied for the ship if it made hostile actions, aerial golem ready to go if it did attack. They would not bother the ship yet though, as it hadn't attacked
-
The ship kept flying around, not doing anything but maintaining its path. Flak cannons proabably wouldn't work very well though.
not sure who i wanna reply with though Talath, Keira or akiko?
-
dont have to reply with only one if you want. Feel free to reply with multiple if you want, can even do different interactions for others if you want.

Okay then
Talath, Keira and akiko had appeared hearing about the victory. They hadn't really heard about these guys before. So oh course they were curious. They were each unique in there appearance. Keira with long black hair, bright blue catlike eyes, cat ears and a fluffy tail. Akiko's appearance was similar to keira but her skin was darker than her's with green eyes and silver hair. Talath was a dragon so his skin was blue grey scales and shaggy black hair with bright green eyes. He was taller than both women by several inches.

the girls and talath had split ways as they all wanted to check out everything but Keira was curious about the guy with the green hair and talath was curious about the golem more than in the brawl at the moment like akiko was. So effectively the three went their separate ways for the moment to reconvene after a little bit.
