Ah. Gotcha; maybe she should interact with more of my characters. Other than Xiong and Marcus. Maybe Vel. They could get along...
“Oh...sorry. Didn’t know about that.” She says, staring back out. “Still haven’t answered my question; you’re the drug guy?” She asked.

  •
Perhaps.
"Keep your voice down about that, grîngo!" Lopez said, in a rather hushed tone. He put on a pair of his CVGs and slid down the ladder, before he looked at Shila. "What're you looking to get into?"
CVGs = Basically aviators that really help Lopez see.
• “What do you have?” She whispered. “Anthony light for me; I can give you some drug from where I come from.”

  • “Give me some data chips, and I’ll give you some red sand.” Shila whispers to Lopez, pulling out a vial of something that looked...of course like red sand.

  • "Alright." Lopez pulled out the chips and passed them to Shila, before taking the sand. "You'll need a Power Glove to use those, though I think you already know it."

  • “I believe so. Snort that like cocaine; it was made by blue-skinned space women. Imagine come and meth, enhanced and combined.” She says, tucking them into her jean jacket pocket, before giving a couple hundred credits to Lopez.

  • Lopez took the credits through his Tac-Pad and returned to his post on the tower. He wasn't one to speak much.

  • “Huh...” She states, walking off and went after Derek next.

  • Derek was the guy who was at the airfield where they had parked their ships, and was currently overseeing the training of some soldiers. Airmen mainly, he was having a few slackers run laps while the main group worked on reassembling a Transport-Class LAT.

  • She walked up to Derek. “I’m guessing you’re Derek?” Shila asked him.

  • "Yeah. And you are?" Derek scoffed, turning his gaze away from the soldiers and bringing it to Shila. Unlike Lopez from before, Derek had a much more menacing appearance than many of the people inside the base. He did wear the standard cargo pants of the NWH, although he didn't bother with a shirt in the frigid environment of the tundra they were standing in, and he opted to wear a black tactical vest with a patch of the NWH proudly stamped on his jacket. His left arm looked to be cybernetic, though unlike JT he had actually put in the effort to make it match his skin tone and blend in. The right arm had a tattoo of a dragon on the forearm, standing atop a wall of brimstone and raining a gaut of fire down into Derek's wrist, while the entirety of his hand was an ashy grey colour. His head was cut into a buzzed fashion, with a green beret sitting atop his horribly scarred face. At either of his hips rested a Pinn-9 pistol, and his back had a Goblin Burst Rifle waiting on a strap.

“Shila. JT’s servant, in a way. Friend in another.” She says, looking at the recruits doing their run. “So...I’m guessing you’re kind of like the drill sergeant of this group?” She asked.

  • "You could say that. These sorry shits need punishment; I provide. Otherwise, I'm technically just a Captain, but JT runs me into fights like I'm a field commander."

  • “So the whole thing backfired, leading to a falter in the mission?” She asked him.

  • "What? No, god no. JT and I had to scavenge from the overwatch while Lance and Etana took on the bigger things. A couple of other bounty hunters JT knew came with us, so it wasn't like we were fighting everybody alone. Thank god I'm more of a swordsman, because I would be absolutely -blam!-ed if I had to pick up ammo every time I ran out."

  • “True.” Shila says, pulling out her saber. “The majority of what used to be my birth-Clan taught us about the use of martial arts. Swords, and the use of guns. Basic training for when we’re sent out to our masters beyond our clan’s place.”

  • “Oh!” She yells, putting the sword away. “Sorry; back where I come from, it’s fine to carry swords and mostly other weapons out. Looks like some sort of fashion, and mostly as some type of threatening tool for self-defense.”

  • "Well, the laws in the major cities are pretty strict - People can own a gun, but open carrying would get you locked up. It's pretty well the same around here, unless you get clearance."
