A wind out of season blew in to the Dojo. First it bowed at the gates blowing northwards, then offered a cordial but callous and cold formal greeting to its counterpart from the west, offered a heartfelt and terrified courtly bow and kiss on the north wind’s queen’s ring, and at last blew in from the east, for that is the direction of beginnings. It ruffled through the town, warm and wild, smelling of grass growing, of cherry blossoms, budding flowers, fresh rain and trees being woken up from their night’s sleep and putting on their clothes. It rumbled a little bit, and flash-stepped up to the gates of the Dojo like a soft bit of storm before it decided to put on its face and introduce its student. The wind blew together into a tall, fair man with blond hair and emerald eyes, wearing a green suit and pants over a storm-black-blue vest, with a young leaf pinned on his breast with an acorn pin that was just beginning to crack open. He smiled, and his eyes smiled too while he pulled a silver oaken, or maybe actual silver, or perhaps something far rarer and more interesting out of nowhere and set it before him as he walked in. Trailing after him, somewhere between a doe following its mother and a lioness awaiting the commands of her maned king, was a young, slight woman. She was small and thin, almost sickly, leaning on a greenwood hawthorn staff wrapped in vines. Her hair was a fiery true red, the color of a dawn that sailors quake at. Her eyes were eerily close to the man’s, with only a touch of hazel separating them. She was clad in a red dress that matched her hair, and a green trench coat over it that looked as though it had been set upon, repeatedly, by a madman obsessed with creating pockets, for they covered every inch of the thing, exterior and interior, each one with something in it, and all sealed with an acorn button. The man said something to the woman, and one went one way, and the other went the other.
Character intro. Specify in a spoiler who you want to talk to.
• "A Mage, hmm?" The man talking was average height at 5'9", with light brown skin, brown eyes and a dark brown Afro. His face was a handsome, but not rugged one. The robes he wore were black in color, with accents of green overall, particularly over the hood (currently down.) and wrists. The garment was wrapped around him so that half his chest was exposed (the left side), a style familiar to some monks. He held a metal staff, where a similar metal snake twisted around the rod to a large green Crystal ball. A green glowing knife was at his belt, with a heavy looking brown satchel. He had picked up on the chemistry between the pair, and with a large, toothless smile on his face, began walking towards the woman. The smile might have been seen as sinister, if his voice wasn't so bright, and his demeanor so positive. "Haha! Lady, that's a nice necklace you got there. Green is a lovely color."

 • “Hm? Oh, thank you sir.” She says, her voice soft but confident and assured. She offers a small curtsy-bow.

 • "I'm no sir, lady." The way his feet moved was smooth. He seemed to glide over whatever surface he came across. Snake like. He walked over to the woman, and crouched down, poking her leg with the staff's non crystal ball side. "Say- you someone who does magic? Or just someone really shy?" It seemed mages and magic users had a knack for finding others with similar abilities. It was a wild guess, mostly based off her unusual necklace and manner.

 • She steps back, careful with a hand in one pocket. “Yes, I am a sorceress.”

 • "Thought so. I'd assumed you were a Mage, but I suppose that is different, then? At least, you didn't agree with me." He stood up, carefully noting the hand that went to the pocket, but offered out a thin and rugged hand instead. "What's your name, lady? I'm Tyrian."

 • “Rosa.” She says as she shakes his hand. Her grip is quite weak.

 • As soon as she took his hand, he pulled the woman closer so that his eyes were only inches from hers, his smile only a thin line. "You didn't answer my question, Rosa..." But he simply returned back to his normal grin, letting go and falling back off the woman to give her space. "Haha! I'm kidding. I would like to know, though. Are you a sorceress, or a Mage?"

 • “Define what you mean by mage.”

 • "First tell me, is there a difference between a Mage and a sorcerer?"

 • “Sort of. A sorcerer uses power from within themselves. A mage can be any magic user, but the technical definition is a magic user who utilized power from outside themself. I can and do both.”

 • "So natural prodigy? Or are you like everyone else in this world?" It seemed that his barrage of questions would not stop, now slow down. Every time Rosa answered, it was immediately met with another question.

 • "Oh? From who, then? Possibly someone of great power, I'd assume."

 • “Uh, Verdantus, my master. He’s the one I arrived with.”

 • "Verdantus? Hm... What an intriguing name. A male's, certainly. So- is he a crusty old man? And if not..." He glided over close to Rosa's side, nudging her arm with his elbow. "What's going on with you two?"

 • "Hm. I suppose you don't plan to keep it that way..." He trailed the sentence off with another, larger smile, as if hinting to something before speaking again. "Because you hope to surpass him, correct?"

 • “If she does, she’s got a long ways to go.” Says a deep voice directly in Tyrian’s ear. The smell of springtime rain was now rather apparent.

 • "Oh- you sly dog! You caught me!" He turned to the voice, and gave the speaker a kiss on the cheek. It seemed he thought it a funny joke, practically rolling on the floor with laughter. However, it was apparent the he was wary, one hand upon the glowing green knife. "So, have I interrupted something?"

 • “Not at all. I merely keep an eye on my rosy robin.” Says the man, nay, the Fey, from before, as he takes the kiss in stride and leans back on his heels. Verdantus. “This world is a garden in much need of repair and caretaking, and no less full of serpents than my home.” His voice is quite happy, and fair as moonlight filtering through rumbling clouds.

 • "Aha... But the world is but a small speck- sadly. However, when I look upon such great beauties of the moon, it is proof that love still exists... Just kidding! Life is meaningless." Another joke, one he found less funny than the last, as his laughing died down quickly. "So, great Mage... Sorcerer... You took an interest in this lady for what reason? Or was it the other way around?"

 • "Pact? That's some heavy stuff. A true pact could end your life if you break it!" He scratched a bug climbing up his leg with the butt of his staff before speaking again. "Though, I suppose there is some sort of... Limiter on what you guys did."
