[i]The little faerie disappeared in a slight flash of yellow light when Ariawyn snapped the fingers on her right hand, the little spirit waving at Azalea with its right hand before it vanished. The dragon-elf's attention was almost immediately snatched up by the book, silver eyes focused on it intently, though she remained silent.[/i]

"This book is very old. But you should be able to read almost all of it expect the one written in ancient mer."says azalea [i]she the holds the book out for her to look at. It was covered in the skin of a old sea serpents. The interior pages yellowed with age.[/i]

"Uhm," [i]The little mage started hesitantly, her eyes hopelessly darting over the pages presented to her, trying to decipher the infinitely foreign language she saw, unless to comprehend or understand.[/i] "M-Mistress, I do not know this language..." [i]She very carefully flipped the page, eyes still moving over the English text, very much desperately as her gaze zigzagged over the yellowed paper. She just couldn't understand, no matter how much she racked her brain, no matter how hard she tried... It might as well have been gibberish for her.[/i]

"Oh my mistake hang on."says azalea [i]She said something in another language and it became very legible. As it was now in a language that she could read.[/i]

[i]It would be her mother language, the letters turning into little signs, symbols, and runes right before her eyes, which brought her a wide smile. Aria knew how to use her magic to translate just about everything, but that didn't work with text, sadly.[/i] "My thanks."

"Anytime."says azalea [i] the spell she saw was the she had used earlier the glass spell. Apparently it a type spell that could be easy to manipulate it was called glass rain. [/i]

[i]The eager little mage didn't respond further, instead focusing on the spell she had her eyes on. Glass Rain, it was called. She studied it, reading the little scribbles with the intention to learn them, to learn how to cast them.[/i]

[i]it seems like it would be very easy to cast but it would take a clear and focused mind to use it. It had a note that is very effective with wind spells making a great attack spell. [/i]

[i]Wind spells, wind spells... Ariawyn made an inquisitive 'hmm' sound while she very carefully flipped the page back to one she got presented to her first, wanting to know what it was she couldn't read at first.[/i]

[i]the she flipped to was called destructive gale a wind spell that was fairly powerful and could be used with other elements with great effect. It gave a list of other elements spells that were effective with this spell. [/i]

[i]She smiled to herself as she read the spell, already thinking of all the mayhem she could cause with it, especially when mixed with a fire spell to cause a whirlwind of flame, or even ice... Eagerly, she continued to read and to learn, and would likely continue until Azalea spoke up.[/i]

[i]Azalea's spellbook contained all manner of spells which could cause all types of mayhem. Azalea knew all to well as she seen her grin. Azalea had personally collected a good deal of these unique spells herself in all her years of being alive. Although a lot the most difficult and not to mention dangerous spells were located in the back of the book marked with a black skull and cross bones. These required a lot more practice to execute.[/i]

[i]The Scicyllin mage proved to be one very fast learner, already trying her hands at spells mere moments after doing nothing more than read them a good few times. Of course, she only attempted the more minor spells so that she wouldn't accidentally tear the campsite or herself apart, her excitement growing the more she read and learned. Then, she found the darker, gloomier portion of the book. Aria cocked her head to the side, her excitement and eagerness not quite fading, but rather, halting out of caution. She kept her head cool, remaining calm and composed so her thinking wasn't hindered, because... well, she didn't want to accidentally create a second plague or something.[/i] "Uhm, Mistress..."

"Yes i take you found the darker spells."says azalea [i]she knew that she would eventually tumble across those ones. [/i]

[i]Aria hadn't even flipped the page, instead leaving the book on the skull with the crossed bones. It was unsettling, of course, but she was also so deathly curious to what was in there...[/i] "Yes... Yes, I did. May I take a look, Ma'am?"

"Yes you can but remember those spells can cause untold horrors as their created by wicked hands for wicked deeds."says azalea [i]azalea knew full well what each and every one those spells were capable of.[/i]

[i]Ariawyn only nodded in response, an awed expression on her face. She carefully, tentatively, flipped the page, her silver eyes looking over the text that lay behind the warning, her breathing a tad bit faster than it usually was.[/i]

[i]that first one was a plague system dubbed the sleeping death. Which would cause the victims to fall in to a deep sleep where they would be impossible to rouse as they eventually waste away then die.[/i]

[i]Interesting, interesting... and by far not as horrid as she had expected. She made a mental note of the hex, flipping to the next page after, her want to learn feeling heavy in her chest.[/i]

[i]there was more darker spells a lot farther into the book all doing horrible things. There were all types there was could turn one inside out another one was making them implode. [/i]

[i]Now... this was more what Aria had expected. It was unnerving, but at the same time, she wanted to learn more of these twisted spells. She felt eager, flipping another page, wanting to garner even more knowledge.[/i]

[i]they definitely kept getting darker and with each turn of the page. A lot them would question a person actual sanity if they used them they were that dark and twisted.[/i]

[i]Ariawyn was unnerved by the dark, horrid spells, of course, but she also felt a spying desire to use them on... something, who knew what. They interested her deeply, both their effects and the stories behind them -- what terrible things happened to their creators to make them create such spells... and as such, she only kept reading, completely captivated.[/i]

[i]azalea watches her leaf through the pages of dark magic wondering just what she thought of them exactly. As she knew that was a good reason they weren't used anymore. She had met some of the creators that made them. All them had one thing in common they were all insane.[/i]

[i]Aria would soon feel the repercussions of her excitement, her throat clenching shut while her face distorted into a look of agony, her eyes wide. Her right hand gripped at her chest, her heart feeling heavy and painful, agony aching in her bosom, throbbing. Only a moment later, she lost consciousness completely, slumping forwards and over the book.[/i]

[i]Azalea curses as she sees her slump over like that effectively scaring the woman. Azalea leans over to check on her not really sure what happened to her.[/i]
