Prototypes
this is a continuation of Ama's investor stuff. So far two people can actually claim her projects.
With one investor assured and another on their way for her to get a better look at who she would be funding, Ama decided it was a good idea to make a demonstration model to show her work. She took inspiration from Titans and her past work to throw together a fairly well made prototype though for the safety of nearby residence, she had opted to not add the firing mechanisms while she was still behind dojo walls. Ama decided with investors she had to at least attempt to look professional for once. She picked up a pair of slacks, a plain dark grey sweater, and a lab coat for any meetings she might have. The coat was a little baggy on her frame but it fit well enough to pass by her standards. Her lab door was left unlocked for once as she sat back writing the last of the code for programming her new machine.
Open
• "Depends on what the build. This particular titan at the moment, would be used for mining tools. If we attach guns, they go to the front lines." Jack stated, a bit coldly.

 • "Well mining maybe but I'd probably send it out mining somewhere with someone you don't like. It's basically a walking land grab built to subjugate large facilities and repurpose them to work for someone else. Besides" She took a small plate of metal from her desk and tossed it over. It didn't look particularly special making it seem like an odd gesture until she gave more context "Cold Forge technology was used to treat that. Pretty much I can make that into any shape without ever heating it and harden it to match whatever it's job is. Ever seen a soda can cut a diamond?"

 • "Didn't even think that was possible." Jack caught the metal, examining it closely. "It'll be assigned to mining then."

 • "Well after you let me know your intentions in their entirety, maybe." It was hard to tell with her. Was Ama taking them seriously or giving them the run around? Both wouldn't have came as a surprise from her. The girl may as well have been a sphinx with how difficult it was to read her.

 • "Our intentions are to win a war, miss." Marker stated, crossing his arms over his chest. "Two wars, actually. One against the IMC. The other against Cerberus."

 • "Fair enough, I'll have the wires removed once I instal the power core as long as your friend doesn't mind paying for a nuclear core. By the time that would need to be changed, I'd probably already made a 2,3 and 4th model of this thing. I'd say I could add the firing mechanisms, power core, and some drilling equipment all set by... The weekend" She took a second to turn around and type in a few command prompts on the screen and the machine powered on though it did not move much more than standing upright to avoid the risk of damaging its makeshift power system. "By the way, like I said, it's primary purpose is to subjigate large facilities. While it would make a good mining rig I'd probably recommend trying to sneak these into places you want to take over. It's smaller so it shouldn't be as hard to safely hide in the midst of a gun fight"

 • "Certainly. We'll try several uses with the titan, until we can figure out its correct station." Marker said, holding his arm up as an orange glow enveloped it. An omnitool. "In return, we will fund your research. Is there anything else you would require? Perhaps some scientists or researchers to assist your cause? A platoon to ensure your security?" He asked as he tapped at the omnitool.

 • "Let's see... open access to resources and material along with permission to send blueprints and 3D renderings to factories for assembly. Also full authorization access to past and current projects for reference. As long as I don't turn on the news to see my name used in the bombing of ophans I'll work on improving and building on your loadouts."

 • "We can grant you access to resources. We can get you access to factories to send and receive blueprints, and we can give you access most past projects. What we cannot do is give you full access to ALL projects, some of them are too valuable. It's not against you, but if you were to start selling off blueprints of projects, it would put us all in danger." Jack said, mostly apologetic at the words. "Other then that though, if we start working together more frequently we can offer you more and more. Until such a time, we'll have a squadron of troops and a number of scientists here. Both to watch, assist and defend you. '

 • "Haha! What a complicated gizmo! So tell me, scientist, what does it do?" The man talking was average height at 5'9", with light brown skin, brown eyes and a dark brown Afro. The robes he wore were black in color, with accents of green overall, particularly over the hood (currently down.) and wrists. He held a metal staff, where a metal snake twisted around the rod to a large green Crystal ball. A green glowing knife was at his belt, along with a rather heavy looking brown sack. He was leaning on the door's frame, with a large, toothless smile on his face. It might have been seen as sinister, if his voice wasn't so bright, and his demeanor so positive. It seems he had wandered in out of curiosity. (It's my only explain action for him being here I'm sorry lmao.)

 • Ama looked over at the small reminder of why she usually kept the door locked. Still, the person didn't seem particularly threatening, at least not to someone like her. She took a step back from the computer hitched to the large machine. From the design it seemed to be a bit shorter than a Titan but it appeared intentionally smaller but equal to its larger predecessors. "Thanks, still working on it. For now I just have it tethered to a generator until I get a power system in place. As for the chassis. It's pretty much all set apart from a few small bugs with the assisted aiming program."

 • "If I understood what that meant, I'd probably applaud you, lady." But still, he seemed... Impressed? At the sight of the suit. Though really, he had no idea what it was. "Is it a moving statue, then? What is it going to guard? Where are its weapons?" He pushed himself off the door with a grunt of effort, electing to lean against the door's wall, rather than the frame of the entrance.

 • "... It's a metal man, that a real man goes into and controls. The umm weapons are the large metal barrels that shoot small metal objects really, really fast" Ama said looking like she was giving herself a headache trying to bring herself to a primitive level of thinking. Apart from the twisted cat of wonderland, she commonly spoke to people about equal to slightly below her level of advancement making for a tricky conversation.

 • "Hm? A man inside another man? That's forbidden where I'm from! Haha! Just kidding, we're progressive." He stared at the machine with a critical eye, and spoke again to the woman, pointing at the hit with the crystal ball on his staff. "You got something you want protected?"

 • A man inside another man... She didn't feel like explaining how awkward that sounded. Instead she directed her attention to the man's question. "Ish, potential investors coming by. Thought I'd throw together something they are familiar with. Know the saying an enemy or my enemy is a freind?"

 • "The enemy of my enemy is friend, huh?" He thought for a moment, before speaking with a chuckle. It seemed that now he had gotten deeper into the conversation, only a hint of the joking smile he had left. "So these investors... They are your enemy's adversary?"

 • "Hey, if I don't have to be directly involved why not? Just trying to make another 'dojo invasion' not happen. Seriously this place gets hit with something every month" She finished up with the coding that the machine activated though only stood upright due to the wires tethered to its systems.

 • "Whoa... Crazy looking... But you might have to use it sooner rather than later. 5 colony planets I heard went dark, unable to communicate." He gripped his staff and tapped the crystal ball on his palm. "Let's hope whatever it is doesn't reach here."

 • "Nope. Just the outside ones, gone silent and no ones heard from them since. But that's some worrying stuff, I'd rather not think about it." He sighed, and spoke to the woman again. "So what's your motivation to make such a machine?"

 • "Hand it over to the right people, indirectly keep certain people at bay, and probably have a backer or two into my research" The machine made a few noises and a clicking noise cane from the currently nonfunctional gun barrel. The thing started performing minor twitching like movements as the joints tested themselves for functionality. "Besides, if I get enough ground maybe this place will let me install a few railguns or something"

 • "Hm... Well, Good Luck! It's nice to see people protecting this beautiful, amazing planet!" It seemed the conversation, at best, was a far reach from what he could understand. Sighing, he decided to walk out he door. "And remember, never give up! Perseverance is... Key!"
End
