Then he heard the sound of Ivan’s grenade catapult, but no grenade came flying in. Instead there was a rush of movement. Ivan jumped over the cover and landed next to Nathaniel, clutching the grenade in his hand. It still had the handle on it, but no pin. It was during this that Nathaniel would know what did change his behavior. The robot spoke for the first time in the fight.
