"First of all," [i]He began, his jolly tone suddenly falling away as he got a lot more serious, and it really felt like he was going to deliver some godawful news,[/i] "It's not a house."
[i]Oh. Jason chuckled quietly, his grin quickly finding its way back onto his face, eyes twinkling as he winked at Alpha. He moved into the doorway fully, snowing the goat that he was wearing a simple pair of grey jeans with a white T-shirt... and navy blue flip-flops. Lazy day.[/i]
"But, yeah, I'm fine with a... furry on my ship... I mean, we're friends, aren't we? Plus, you remind me of, uh... my daughter. Anyhow, I left the whole furry-hating behind, so now it's more, ah... tolerating, I suppose? I dunno. If they don't act like a weird-аss fuсkbag, I couldn't care less."

"It's pretty good, to be honest. Calms the nerves and eases the pain." [i]He did mention arthritis earlier, so that was likely the pain he spoke about. Jason let out a little groan, sitting back in his chair as he took a deep breath of the blunt.[/i]

"There are non-narcotic treatments for Arthritis." She pointed out

"Even then, I still have PTSD to worry about." [i]He retorted with a glance towards Alpha, slowly exhaling the smoke after.[/i]

"...and I don't?" She asked, without any accusation. "Jason.....I was tortured. I was knocked up because I was a furry. I was knocked up by the only other man I ever considered to be family." She said, quietly

[spoiler]NANI THE -blam!-[/spoiler] [i]He couldn't help but let out a light laugh at Alpha's reaction to her first hit of some weed, a wide grin spreading across his lips as he snatched the blunt back, firmly putting it back in between his lips.[/i] "Nature's medicine, if you can believe that... Heheh."

"It's better than cigarettes, you know." [i]Jason grinned around his dank blunt (kill me), taking a deep tug of it after.[/i]

Alpha just took another pull on her own cigarette and shook her head "Nah."

"Health-wise... then again, since when does either of us give a shit about our own health?" [i]He stifled another laugh, his whole... being becoming visibly more relaxed with every tug he took from his smoke.[/i]

"Yeah. Anyhow..boss, when's the training?" She asked amused

"Once you finish your smoke." [i]Jason pulled what remained of his own blunt out, nonchalantly dapping it against the table he sat at until it was no longer burning, after which it disappeared back into his pocket.[/i]

It didn't take long. "Aight, howabout now?"

[i]Jason rose up from his chair, pushing it back into its place beneath the table after. He smirked, nodding off to one of the doors.[/i] "Now, we head to the sim -- unless you prefer the real deal?"

"real deal. Pain is the best teacher."

"You'd still feel pain in the sim, you know... just have more freedom in there."

"Then do that." She said, sighing "I just learned how to use a rifle the hard way."

[spoiler]tbh pal you're gonna have to, like, point out flaws because I'm shit at teaching and have no idea how to punch... with... strategy, I guess[/spoiler] [i]He only nodded, leading the way through the doorway. Behind it was a simplistic hall that branched off into various parts of the ship, though that wasn't important as the pair soon entered a decently bland room filled with four fancy chairs, each standing at a rustic wooden desk filled with monitors and stuff. On each chair, there was a sort of... helmet.[/i] "Pick a chair and press the button."

She sat on one, and did so "Next?"

"Put the helmet on and relax." [i]Jason did exactly as he, himself, had said, sitting down next to Alpha on his own chair. He turned the machine on, the machinery within awakening with a hum. He slid the helmet on, grey eyes shutting as he relaxed atop the fairly comfy seat.[/i]
