Just checked my D1 account. I have 323d17h logged. You can tell me how much time you think I wasted, but you'd be incorrect. I invested heavily in my 20's, started working for myself at 31, and here I sit doing as I wish. So, to that end, play time is subjective and no one is wrong or right for their time played. Nor should they be judged.
