"Your tellin' me! Shoulda listened to the wife and brought some water. I'm Dale, by the way. No hard feelings no matter what happens, yeah?"
The man was in a suit of why looked like steel armor, with a rather large mechanical box on the back. Over the top of the armor on his forearms were ornate silver guards, which glowed with a bright power. A sub machine gun lay at his hip, and he held an axe in his right hand. It was thick, sharp and double bladed, and seemed to have a handle too short for reliably two handing it. His eyes swerved to his opponent, and he lifted his arms, making his already large 6'3" frame look larger.
"Are you ready? I'll give you some time if you need it."

"Nah. Came from the same friend. Blocks two of anything...sadly it has a cooldown or I would've used it more." Bedlam shivered at remembering being shot at and having the steel armour thrown at him. "Ouch..."
-
"Ha! Just be glad the sand didn't hit it! That would have been disastrous. Say- you know who you're facing next? I can give you tips on how to use the axe you took from me!" He seemed to laugh, it was more a joke rather than an accusation.
-
"Oh....I totally didn't forget about the sand and try to summon a shield the first time you hit me, but fail...not at all." He shrugged. "No idea who I'm fighting yet."
-
"Hm... I hate to say it but you better be on guard. I saw the way my bullets tore through you- you'll have to face much worse." He gave a sly smile before speaking again "But two tons to the back might help. The teleportation was clever, I think you got some real potential with that axe of... Mine? Yours?"
-
"Ours. And thanks. I'll use something different next time. Most likely I won't be able to get away with the same tricks."
-
"You wanna know something real good? Not sure how well it's work with you but, push 'em forward then call it back. They will be in two pieces! Ah but seriously be careful. One wrong move and you'll end up with a broken arm." Dale sighed and took another sip, regarding his once opponent. "You know- two outta three people I've met have used guns, I'm surprised you didn't have one!"
-
"Eh, I can use one if I want. I could make lasers shoot out of my fingertips while I yell "Pew!" if I wanted." Bedlam weakly laughed. "I'll try and win for you, man."
-
"Yeah, keep it up! I'd offer something in return for this beer, but not right now. Come on down to the Good Knight's Night if you ever need a place to rest. Anyone who can hand me my own as-" He was stopped suddenly by a glare from the previous woman, who was waiting down the hall, buying something from vending machine. "Butt. Is welcome any time, free of charge."
-
"Thanks, Dale. Well, I can't stay long. I have a girlfriend to go celebrate with." Bedlam waved goodbye.
-
"Alright, take care Bud. The wife gets mad if I stay away too long. I'll catch up later... And good luck!" He turned and waved as well, catching a chip bag thrown at him by a smaller woman, amd turning the corner with a final "goodbye."
End!
