Answer 2: You have six general options here; three of them you can do right now: Blow up the station, minimal damage but everyone aboard is dead, or you can prioritize rescue and hope that you can break the station before it hits the ground. You could also try to slow down the ship/push it over the ocean and give yourself more time, but risk losing resources for other options. You aren't limited to these if you get creative, but having some known paths is helpful. Answer 3: You might be able to fit a Stryder type in the transport hallways, with some reduced mobility.[/spoiler]
