Today's Exotic weapons are weapon types I would be interested to see and relativity to current weapons and meta
The first exotic is a Veist handcannon
Exotic Handcannon : 1-HC Bushmaster
"This thing IS the definition of chasing down your targets and a run and gun"-Cayde-6
Mag size: 12
Rpm: 140-180
Exotic Perk 1: Veist Venom
Rounds fired from the weapon decrease targets movement speed and aim assist stacks (x5) 15% movement speed each stack and 5-10% aim assist each stack
Exotic Perk 2: Bushmaster Strikes
Increases movement speed Weapon allows wielder to fire weapon while sprinting fire rate increased for 5 sec after sprint stop
Other perks: chambered compensator rifling, armor piercing rounds,
The second exotic is a hakke "linear fusion rifle". So Hakke took a look at fusion rifles and then some old golden age schematics over a railgun firing actual ammo (bc Hakke is all kinetic guns) and created a monster of a weapon for mid-long range fights)
Exotic linear fusion rifle: CaliBurn-D
Mag size: 3
Exotic perk 1: Out of the fire
This weapon instead of a charge up time it has a cool down time after firing
Accelerated coils
Polygonal rifling
Exotic perk 2: Afterburner
This weapon fires explosive rounds that do aoe lasting burn damage
I'd appreciate it if I had some feedback from you guys thanks again

So with the hand cannon I like the shoot while sprinting Perk, but I think the first perk in decreasing movement speed is a little op for a hand cannon. That sort of feature is for abilities that have cooldowns. The fusion rifle I think would have to not be a 1 precision shot kill for that perk to work. Reason being is the scope on a linear fusion would be incredibly easy to peek out and get a head shot and hide while it cools down, otherwise it’s a neat perk Idea. As for the second part I think giving it “high impact, explosive, aoe, lasting burn damage rounds” is a little much lol. I think just giving it some sort of aoe explosion/effect on a kill is enough.
