Aveline didn't quite know why or how she ended up inside the Trayven base without JT or Benny, but she did know that it was too late to call up Gloria or Derek for any help regarding angry trident-wielding women with severe murder fantasies for some "Isabella." Although it would take her a moment to recognize Freya from the texts that JT had sent her after the meeting with the woman took place, which resulted in his attaining of a ring, she watched eagerly and intently at the technique of the trident thrower. And only after realizing did the blonde-haired Aveline decide to come up on the approach. She moved to the side of the haystack that her trident found itself plunged into and looked to Freya, a look of concern on her face. "Did an 'Isabella' do something to piss you off?" Aveline quizzically asked, crossing her arms and their red and black plaid sleeves as they crossed over her button up chest. Her head was tilted slightly to the side, light blue eyes looking over at Freya as her straight hair fell straight down.

 • "...No. Well, yes. A lot of things have pissеd me off recently." The military commander would sigh, as a simple nod would be her final response towards Aveline, at least for the time. The redheaded Freya would approach the target's stationed position, gripping the metal shaft of her training trident as she would rip the weapon from it's straw sheath, tattered pieces of the rugged material splitting from the force and the sharpened edges. Freya would then let the weapon slide through her palms as she would study Aveline quietly, before responding. "...I'm sorry for studying. Have we met before? Freya Trayven." While her handshake, of which was offered towards the woman, was genuine.. she seemed much too tired to be commandeering at the time.

 • "Not personally, though you've met my business partner. Cowboy, rude and kind of a flirt?" Aveline inquired, giving Freya a quick shake of the hand. With the exception of a pistol situated at her hip and the knife in her jeans pocket, Aveline was rather unarmed - Something that hopefully gave a more friendly and less intimidating vibe to the commander. "So who's this Isabella, and what did she do?"

 • "JT, right? I can say that I have." Freya would respond, as she would recall the cowboy with ease. She didn't know him much at all, personally, but it would be the outfit and equipment that gave him away. And she was more comfortable, seeing Aveline's light equipment: her weapons seemed more primed for self defense, more than anything. "Isabella is both my "sister" and a lieutenant commander whom persists on foreign alliances and fighting the Dojo members. If said alliances wouldn't lead us into debt, and if Dojo members didn't include close acquaintances and friends.."

 • "I hear you. People need to see the bigger picture when it comes to allies." Aveline, unlike her "Business partner" and the rest of the "Shareholders", didn't see a value specifically in becoming friends with other groups. That just led to more obligations later down the road anyways, in her eyes. "So why don't you just punish Isabella? You're in charge, right?"

 • "One, she has everyone up her tаint, metaphorically and literally. The soldiers adore her. Her agents are inspired by her. She is Trayve's finest warrior - a beacon of eternal victory and impending, harsh justice. Demoting her wouldn't be an insult, it would be a test for her to beat the hеll out of whomever took her place. I will not put someone at that risk. Two, she literally trained me for combat. Me punishing her on my own, as most armies would do, would lead to my embarrassment at her hands. There is nothing that I could do that would stop her. And three? We must be unified, now more than ever." Freya would say with a quiet sigh. "I cannot bother to tear apart my soldiers even more between supporting myself, or Isabella. She is my sister. We must be united for the wars to come."

 • "Well if you need to keep her around, why don't you send her off to another area on the planet so she can lead troops elsewhere?"

 • "As I said, unification is a necessity in this time. If she was lost to the enemy, I.. Forgive me if I seem pessimistic." Freya would say with a simple shaking of her head.

 • "You aren't pessimistic, just realistic," Aveline assured her. She knew full well what Freya meant - Aveline wasn't the one who organized city militias when the Marshals needed to act, that was more a Benny and Derek thing, though she understood what it was that Freya was going through. After all, Aveline was the one who cheered up Derek with a round of drinks at the local gáy bar. "So I kinda think it may help, would you want to go grab a cup of coffee or something?"

 • "Some coffee could definitely help. Sure. Though.. let me change out of this uniform. Incredibly uncomfortable apparel, to say the very least." Freya would return with a much more casual set of clothing: a fiery red t-shirt that matched the color of her short hair, accompanied by a buff grey jacket and a pair of jeans. It seemed more appropriate, for the colder weather. "Ready when you are."

 • "Alright, I know a place just a few minutes away." Most people would have just walked down to a coffee place nearby, although with all the Trayven soldiers and Dojoville civilians that now were forced to mingle, Aveline knew full well the kind of chaos that would usually go down in a place. So she got into her car - well, truck - alongside Freya and drove the two about fifteen minutes east, where she pulled up in front of a smaller coffee place. Not too busy and rather quaint, she knew it would at the least help Freya relax.

 • The smaller place did calm Freya a little, while she was particularly silent for the trip. Other than playing with the radio, questioning the car's functions, and randomly asking Aveline about how a tank looked. Freya couldn't get her mind off of being militaristic and curious. "This is nice," She would say, looking upon the place with the workings of a comfortable smile. She would allow Aveline to take the lead, since she was foreign to cafés and such - coffee, not so much.

 • Aveline approached the counter and ordered a double double (two milk, two sugar, I don't know what Americans call it) from the employee behind the counter, and a small chocolate chip muffins for herself. She allowed Freya to pick out her own drink and food, then proceeded to pay for it through a credit card (which nobody in Dojo ever uses), and she sat at a window table with Freya.

 • Freya, meanwhile, had simply gotten a cappuccino and some small, chocolate cookies in a package, sitting down as she sipped her drink. She sighed, though in a more relaxed manner, nodding towards Aveline. "Thank you. I'll have to remember this place later on, whenever we return. In roughly a week from now, we'll have to move out for some time: war efforts and such."

 • "A week and roughly a thousand troops to prepare, yes. So.. how long have you resided at the Dojo, if at all? Seems.. way too hectic to even reside in. I've already had to fight off fire monsters, tentacle monsters, and Dojo members that pick fights with my own men."

 • "Honestly I'm not in the Dojo, for the most part. My friends and I all rent an apartment in... Lumen Solis, though since the cowboy's out here usually, we all kind of come out here once or twice a week." Aveline made it clear that "Lumen Solis" wasn't her place of residence, though she did keep her ties to Extryte tucked away for the time being. Truthfully she lived offworld, preferring to stay in Canada out on Earth, although she did admit to not living in the Dojo. "And yeah, I agree. The Dojo needs to calm down a bit."

 • Freya seemed to understand, instead politely nodding towards Aveline when she mentioned Lumis. She knew not to pry into details like a mantis would tear into a bug's shattering shell - such inquisitive behavior usually lead to a more negative situation. "Ah, I understand. Though from what I see, it just seems like it's.. Tatakai, really. Perhaps it's just the Dojo in general, I can't recall how many times I've heard "It's the Dojo" from citizens and warriors alike. Though it is an excitement, nonetheless. Nothing to enjoy when lives are on the line, but.. fun, almost. I take that you aren't a direct combatant?"

 • "Oh, no no no. I'm a... Detective, of sorts. Not exactly registered, although I work with a couple of people." The Marshals didn't exactly act like a traditional detective group - Inquiring and following leads was Aveline's role usually, then she would hand over the information to Derek or, god forbid, JT, while passing information on between Benny and Gloria - though she did prefer to keep out of a combative role when possible. Not to say she hadn't seen a few fights in her life, though she tended to let the cowboy and the crimson dragon handle the big things. "Though I do find myself in a few scraps here and there."

 • "A detective. That's a first, to be terribly honest.. you aren't looking into my particularly dull pastimes and personal troubles, are you?" The joke was intended to be sarcastic, although Freya made it seem genuine, outside of the beginning smile that began to cross upon that lightly freckles face. It was a joke nonetheless, but it was a slight concern.[/]

 • "Heh," Aveline chuckled, taking a sip from the cup in front of her. She supposed that her nature did seem rather inquisitive and intrusive at times. "No, I'm not probing you for info or anything."
