How does the strongest man in the world, make up the extra cash he spent on that stupid thing his wife told him not to buy? By using his talents.
Dojo 3pm VR room. The room itself was quite large, white with blue, rigid electronic veins running up and around its sides. There were large blocks of similar material to act as cover dispersed throughout, somewhat tightly packed. While there was cover, one would have to sprint between to avoid getting shot, rather than it being a condensed maze of blocks. A large pole stood in the middle with a similar outside skin to the VR room, and atop, sat a large Man in a criss cross apple sauce position. He wore no armor, but silver forearm guards, rather ornate compared to his down to earth look. At his side was a large, double bladed axe. It's handle was short, but not long enough to be two handed for long periods of time- perhaps for a more powerful attack. The blades were sharp, and somewhat thick, suggesting the flat end could be used as a blunt weapon. A large sign, with holographic visuals blinked above him, and rotated around above his head. "Fight Agent Strong Man for money, gain knowledge." It was a gamble, but being here for the past weeks, the man knew someone would come along.
Open! Some groundo ruleso: This would be my: 2nd-3rd RP fight, be patient and respect that fact. I'll allow just about anything, but I will decide if the man is simply outmatched and surrender. • What happens when the world's strongest man met Tatakai's strongest cyborg? JT pondered the question as he entered the arena, thoughts of just how much Dale could take running rapidly through his augmented mind as he considered the possibilities. Either the two were evenly matched or one of them had the advantage - JT had to be on his guard in here. And so the Marshal loaded into the arena, his usual duster and hat resting firmly atop his head while his belts crossed over the wait of some blue jeans, a bright white shirt bring kept away beneath a fancy vest under the jacket. He didn't load any guns in with him beyond a rifle, though it was all out of ammunition so he could practice using his Champion's Rifle as a sort of club. He had a pair of jagged swords on his hip as well as a makeshift gladius, though he didn't draw them and rather held the barrel of his rifle in his hands. "Ready?"

  • No ammo and a few crude weapons? You must have confidence in your abilities. His voice was deep, somewhat grumbly- but rather smooth. To a tired listener, it might have put them to sleep. The pole retracted into the ground, leaving the man sitting on the blue and white floor. He slowly stood up with a groan of effort, and spoke again. I hope you saw the sign, though. I'll teach you some tricks if you can provide the coin... He crossed his arms, stubbornly staying in the center of the arena. The cold room made the hair on his chest stand slightly on edge, he didn't like it.

  • "I ain't interested in tricks, how 'bout we make a little bet?" JT inquired. He certainly had the funds to back up his fighting, even if he lost - Which he was confident he would not do, naturally.

  • If I was a gambling man, I would have put money on the table. I'm here to earn coin- not lose it. However, because it's been three hours and no one has walked up to me, I'll see about that offer. He kept his arms crossed, and took a good look at his opponent. Whoever it was had confidence, meaning it was an elaborate buff or something else was amuck. He'd have to be careful. So hit me with it.

  • The axe? Well, you wouldn't be able to lift it- literally. I'd love credits as much as the next guy, but this thing changes its weight to its owner, with me being the only one to carry it. He thought for a moment, before deciding upon speaking up once more. I suppose you could get my services free for a time- if it counts as having the axe.

  • "No deal. You take me to whatever mage enchanted that thing and I'll work up a deal with 'em." JT didn't need services - He already had a vast expanse of contacts that he knew and friends to call up. What he needed, however, was an array of melee weapons - Which he was severely lacking in. He would take what he could get, and even if the man wished to keep his axe, there was a desired outcome.

  • Sure- I can do that. Just don't bring any other weapons around him. He placed the axe's blade against his palm, tapping it slightly and repetitively. The man seemed itching to go, mostly because he needed the practice for the upcoming tourney. Seeing as the deal had been struck, the arena began to change shape and form, the cover turning to large rocks, while the rest was dirt and grass. Between them at the moment there was nothing, as the center had no cover whatsoever. So then, deal? It was more a formality, considering he had agreed to the man's request. Oh, and your name. I'm Dale Morrison.

  • "Marshal JT." If Dale had been around the Dojo or Dojoville long enough, there was a good chance he heard of the Marshal at least once before. Not because JT was some sort of justice-dispensing paragon or a bringer of evil, but because the Dojo's city had been attacked more times than residents could count and he had been the one giving out prosthetics to the crippled. And because he was, frankly, kind of a shitlord with his actions in the city. "Well Dale, take your swing." JT put his rifle onto his back and gotten into a readied stance, his fists out in front of him as he stood slightly hunched.
You ever play Assassins Creed? He's in the combat stance you'd be in when using fists, pretty much.
•
I didn't but I looked it up, sounds good.
My swing? Fair enough. He dropped the axe down to his side, the lifted it behind his head, and chucked at as hard as he could. Instead of waiting to see the effect, he rushed after it in the direction of the cowboy. Rather than running normally, his back was hunched and lowered, his arms loose to cover his face, the ornate guards covering it, his hands were slightly open, arms tucked tight around his stomach. When reaching fist distance of the cowboy, took a quick jab at his stomach.
Essentially he threw the axe at JT, and rushed in to jab at his stomach. Deal with both how you wish, but the axe moves much faster than Dale, so he should have time to react to the punch.
• The axe throw was a telegraphed move that JT easily avoided by moving to the side, but the punch hit the cyborg off guard. Rather than just shrugging off the blow like JT usually did regarding punches, he actually recoiled back and jumped. A six hundred pound man of pure metal, reacting to a punch from a human in the same way that any would? He could tell Dale was a tough fight. So rather than doing nothing he decided to roll with it, grabbing Dale by the throat and pulling him into a standing position, before JT collided his metallic fist with Dale's nose.
Two goliaths of strength in a fistfight, this'll be good.
•
Yeeeeah booiiiiiii
His throat grabbed by the cyborg, Dale received a nasty punch to the face, one which he'd rather not experience again. With both the cowboy's hands up top, Dale placed his hand against his opponent's stomach... And called back his axe. The massive hunk of metal came with a screech as it flew through the air. Rather than letting the cowboy dodge, Dale used his other free hand to grab the cyborg's arm. The axe changed its weight to that of a large car before crashing into the cowboy's back.

  • The axe connected with JT's back, but he just... Let it through. His muscles weren't tensed up, rather he used the nanomachines he called blood to move as many muscles out of the axes pathway as it cut through his back's plates and those of his chest. It went right through the cowboy axehead first, and would find itself inside the much more human, pain-feeling Dale.

  • Crack. The sound of the axe hitting his palm echoed in the arena, a mighty tool of screeching metal and hulk of all men meeting in the center of a cowboy. He caught it. The axe could change its weight- both ways. Keeping it inside the cowboy, he reared his head back... And slammed it into the cyborg's own, letting go of his hand to put distance between the combatants, and pulling out the axe by its blade. Once the axe was out, he returned its weight to normal, though a large, but not very deep cut was in Dale's left hand where the axe hit. You're a liquid?! He flipped the weapon's handle into his own hand, the blood being absorbed by the leather of the handle. Was sure as hell you weren't.
Heck. If any of these moves seem A. Godmoddy Or B. Cannot happen because of [blank] just hit me with a heads up.
• JT stepped away from Dale for a moment, taking a second to reassess his wound - The holes in his body were now filled internally by his muscles as they had returned to their normal spots and some of his "Blood" moved in to assist in fixing the holes, starting with making the edges of the cuts so it wouldn't snag on his clothes. JT grinned then, pulling his twin swords from his hips as he looked to Dale. "You've got a good arm, haven't seen somethin' like that since my buddy got diced up. Twenty years ago was th' last time someone cut through metal like -blam!-in' butter."

  • Dale gripped the axe tightly in his right hand. Covering against two swords at once would be hard but not impossible. However, with the swords came weakness in his obvious lack of reaction speed. He'd have to make use of the forearm guards on his wrists. But more important than that... He backed up into the cover beyond the ring of plain grass. He placed himself on with his left side next to the rock, silently confirming this tom himself with an arm's length pat on the stone. You'd be surprised, this thing packs much more a punch.

  • JT stared Dale down, gripping the twin blades in either of his hands. What Dale would see wasn't a cowboy anymore though, rather the true, cold nature of the cowboy was easily visible through his electric blue eyes. He had the thousand yard stare about him, one that a bloodthirsty hound had when staring down its prey. His stance radiated power and dominance; JT was the alpha here, or at least he forced the feeling upon Dale.
Just a little trick JT picked up in RP. He ain't actually forcing any feelings, though he has learned to look menacing as all -blam!- over the years kek.
•
Lmao yeah
Despite his size, Dale did feel somewhat intimidated. He saw the events that happened in dojoville. He knew what these... Things were capable of. However! He knew that he could damage the cyborg, and that he could get through the armor with his axe, with that knowledge in mind, he managed to stare back. Not a threatening stare, but he kept eye contact, until the cowboy reached a distance that he felt it was better to look at his weapons. He raised his left arm up, the forearm guard shining in the forest like light, covering his front, the axe covering his right side. Raising the weapon, he readied himself.

  • JT knew that the weapons in his hand looked heavier than they really were - Dale didn't have armour, so JT hadn't needed to break out his heavier and slower gear. The cowboy started his attack by walking forwards and holding the right sword in a reverse grip - He lunged to Dale's right suddenly, the blade's swiftness and lightness joined by unexpected speed from JT as the poisoned blade cut a swath across Dale's torso. If all went well, it would cause a good bit of damage and leave Dale poisoned.

The good thing was that a right attack was the only feasible one, and easily predicted. A forward attack would be too rash, and it was impossible to attack on the left. He quickly raised his forearm grip, deflecting the blow off them, and staggering back. Knowing that the poison would be lethal, he had to make his move. Upon the stagger, the cyborg could see the skin upon his frame tighten and harden, his muscles grow in size and mass, everything about him seemed to get... Bigger, stronger. It eventually looked as if his skin was so tight and thick it might have well been armor. GOOD, I FEEL STRRRROOONG!!!! He had gained an extra inch or two, his body compensating for the size by increasing everything else by two inches, like his arms, but not that (hehe). He pulled forward from the stagger, and punched the rock with his left hand, shattering it and sending softball sized stone daggers at the cyborg.
Dale: Physical Prowess. Essentially his durability and physical strength become twice that of his opponent, his skin and muscle adapting to resemble the thickness and hardness of the armor. He is the strongest man in the world- after all.
• JT had to react quickly, which he did by sprinting around Dale in a circle, staying at a wife arc and a range so that Dale would need to predict for lead more than he already was. The cowboy had a stone dagger in his leg, though he tripped himself into a piece of cover about fifteen metres away from Dale. "Mother-blam!-er!" JT shouted, his body rejecting the weapon as the nanites pushed it out of his system, plugging up the wound. It was time to retaliate, so he would sheath his weapons and flick his left hand back. A series of six long, triangular strips extended out of his arm, connected to the hole in his hollowed wrist by a series of poles near the sharp end of the black strips as it formed an industrial drill. It ran along his arm and went to a point three quarters down his arm. He had a plan, and that was shown when he vaulted over the cover and started sprinting towards Dale.
Basically JT made a steel/ceramic drill on his arm, like a thinner version of a Big Daddy drill with six sides. Left arm only, though.
• However, the hulk of a man was no where to be found. He couldn't have moved far, but he definitely did move as the cowboy healed himself. He was probably behind one of the three large, around eight feet wide and tall boulders that had previously been simulated cover. Placing his foot on the massive rock, Dale kicked it forward at the charging cowboy, rather than attempt to face the large drill in his hand. With the distraction his place, he moved backwards to the next rock not too far away, placing his right side next to it. JT would have to swing the drill forward if he didn't want to hit solid rock. Switching axe hands, the beast lowered his body, bending knees in a "sumo" position.

  • That was -blam!-ing it, JT had enough. He found everything to be quite bullshit about the situation he was placed in (character, not writer) and so he straight up kicked his right leg out at the machine. It landed against his foot as the springs of his leg bent, and he kicked it back at Dale with three times the steed and power that he had put in.

  • Deciding that moving would be a better idea than catching or breaking it, he swung himself around the boulder he was next to, and pounded the ground with his foot. Dale wasn't sure how stable JT was on one foot, but it couldn't be too hard to make him falter with the shaking of the ground he caused. In the moment of weakness, he swung back out of cover and side armed his axe at a hopefully wobbling opponent. The axe moved at incredible speeds, no doubt about the weight of a baseball- but that would probably change soon. Rather than wait for the cyborg to counter attack, he began stomping the ground more to put him off balance.

  • JT jumped into the air, his spring legs carrying him about ten feet high. He would come crashing down upon Dale, going legs-first with his drill ready in case Dale moved, which JT was hoping on.
