Divia couldn’t pinpoint why, but that staff and clothing made her incredibly wary. She dropped out of her tree, landing almost uncomfortably close to the woman, staring her down as though evaluating how quickly she’d be able to kill her. Her right hand stayed near her knife, the glyph on the back gleaming softly, ready to be unleashed at a moments notice if she had to.
“Who are you?”
She asked somewhat unsteadily. Her voice sounded cold and uncomfortable with the words, like somebody who either learned the language as a second or third, or just didn’t talk much.
