/me lumps myself in with AAA games developers, because I once made all the screens flash different colours on the c64s in our local supermarket. I feel thier pain because I once wrote a website for our xwing alliance clan in notepad. I knew exactly what they were going through when I finally figured how to write to the eeprom on the Arduino. Gimme a break. The game's shit.

While I really don’t have anything to say to the closeminded argument that developers do or do not work hard to fix issues I take an issue with the feaux superiority complex of your post. I’m sure your coding work is amazing and if so please gift the world with your genius. /sarcasm But for real, why do people attempt to show people how close minded others are to negative things while at the same time being closed minded to positive aspects? But I’m sure everything you do is amazing so you have no way to relate to failing at thing you thought was a good idea. I’m sure you had, you just didn’t have children crying about it like they were going on a trip constantly annoying their parents asking them “Are we there yet?”

  • What is positive about the op to be close minded about? It's like saying I once cooked a bacon butty, so don't tell that 5 Michelin star chef that his steak tastes like shit. Lots of us are mediocre at lots of things, like me and coding. It doesn't mean we should laud those that are brilliant at them but turn out substandard results.

Which is perfectly acceptable at first but when they state they have heard what you said and you still persist? Then it’s more than just consumerism in practice it becomes borderline harassment. Some of the posters on this board crack me up because when leveled with the same level of criticism they dish out they would probably have mental breakdowns. I don’t think I would continue to talk to or talk about the ex I don’t like after I acknowledge I broke up with them. After a bit, it makes ya look kinda dumb.

  • Well, I'm a big believer in credit where credit is due, and also that ppl should be big enough to hold thier hands up if they are wrong. As for the game, and this thread. I honestly don't think coding is the problem, it's the marketing. I don't know if it's bungie or Activision, but it is just a very thin game.
