Open! Meet Cammy.
Awaken. Why art thou silent? Why dost thou sleep? Awaken, Sturmheilige. Our God waits no longer. Camilla woke with a start, her head swiveling left to right, up and down; where was the voice? Where was it? She had to find it. She pushed herself off the dirt ground she had been lying upon in a blind frenzy. Her surroundings were a blur; all she could see was red. Where was the voice? The saint stumbled around confusedly. At one point, she crashed into a wall; she staggered backwards, and in her disconcerted state of being, she would trip over her heels and fall on her back. But the impact didn’t do anything to clarify her senses. No, it was her reflection that appeared when she pushed herself off the ground for the second time in a couple of minutes; the sight of her deranged self in a shallow puddle of water. Messy, shoulder-length dirty blonde hair that hung at the sides of her round face, untamed and wild. A fair skin tone, with small splotches of freckles on her cheekbones and the tip of her small, perky nose. Her thin lips were slightly parted; she was unconsciously breathing quite heavily. Perspiration had formulated on Camilla’s forehead, and it wasn’t from physical exertion. Camilla’s eyes cleared, and her senses returned. She lifted her head and forced herself up, taking a good look at where she was; trying to recall what she’d been doing before she dozed. It was evening. The sun was slowly drifting beyond the horizon, and the sky was painted in dozens of different warm colors. The few, large, isolated clouds that drifted through the heavens were the canvases for the sun’s artistic medium; they were conglomerations of fiery light, inhumanly beautiful. The saint had crashed into the ruins of an old church in Dojoville, one of the many buildings that recently been burned to the ground. The walls were black and charred, with dilapidated, wooden beams collapsed into what was once the church’s interior. It was only made darker and deader by the glorious sunset. As Camilla gazed around the church, her eyes widened. What had attracted her to such a place? Was it coincidental? Either way, there were many conflicting emotions that warred for control over Camilla. Memories came flooding back–no, no. She had to get out of there. Without a second thought, Camilla sprinted out of the church, into the empty streets of Dojoville. Now, she asked herself the million dollar question; what on Earth was she doing here? Oh, right. She had come to the Dojo with her group. Her companions, her friends; where were they? “Hello? Anybody out there?” She called out. Her voice seemed drained of her usual energy as it echoed through the town’s the ruins. Perhaps the calling of a lonesome crow would not be the only response she’d receive.

 • "GET THE -blam!- OUT OF MY WAY, RAAAAGH!" Camilla would hear, right before seeing a crowd of people split down the middle. A group of people nearby were parted as the familiar face of Barbara pushed angrily through the divide, her bear pelt cape thing flying behind her and her axe resting behind it. She looked to be barreling towards Camilla with the speed of a horse and the strength of a bull, and she slowed to a halt a few feet away of Camilla. She wasn't much calmer, but she was at the least quieter. "Are you alright!?"

 • As usual, Camilla would be startled out of her mind when Barbara made her entrance. After a short-living squeal, she took a deep breath and smiled–it was a familiar face, and that would always make Camilla happy. She took a few steps towards Barbara, throwing her arms around the taller woman in a tight hug. “Yeah, I’m great!” She responded with renewed effervescency. The energy had returned to her voice, which would be a relief to anybody who knew Camilla.

 • Barbara anticipated the arms when she saw Camilla going in for the hug, so she ducked down and let Cammy wrap her arms around her neck and shoulders. Barb had wrapped an arm around Cammy's back and picked her up for a solid few seconds, setting her back on the ground a moment later. "Where are the others? Me and Daun have been here for a little while but we couldn't find anybody."

 • “The others? I haven’t seen Dad yet. I think Oreo went to the library. I have no clue what Zenia’s up to. And Corra... I don’t know about her, either.” Now, Cammy frowned slightly. “I hope they’re all okay... anyways, what’ve you been up to?”

 • "Me?" Barbara restated, thinking to herself. She hadn't gotten up to much since speaking to Daun, with the exception of going on a jog and getting into a particularly heated bark-off with a dog on said jog. "...Not much. No. How about you, anything happen?"

 • Before replying, Cammy’s eyes went to the church that she’d just ran away from. She knew exactly why she was attracted there. But she shook her head, replying to Barbara. “Nothing. I’ve just been wand... wandering. Around. Y’know, new place. Although I do wonder why it’s all been ruined...?”

 • "Apparently this place has seen a lot of fighting and stuff like that. Stupid warring tribes roll into this one's territory too much." Barbara remembered just then that she had purchased a map, using funds taken off some people she fought for Daun, and put it in the war horn on her hip. She pulled out the canvas map of Tatakai, which I expect the creator would know what I mean, and showed it to Cammy. Barb's right index finger pointed to Dojoville and she circled a wide radius around it, almost as if marking a tribe's territory. "There's a place called 'The Dojo' at the top of a hill nearby, the tribe Elders and Warriors live there, I think. But others can visit and train, like us Outsiders."

 • “Outsiders? Like, the book?” Cammy laughed slightly, before looking passed Barbara towards the hill that she’d pointed on that gorgeous map. “D’you wanna go check it out?” As it was well known, Cammy was lacking in the physical department. As such, she felt a desire to train her body–it could prove useful.

 • Barbara on the other hand, she was a living amalgorithm of various fitness techniques. Her body was muscular from head to toe, probably because of all the 'Herbs' she takes on the regular. "Yeah, lead on. I've heard a few people talking about the place, apparently it's better then this place."

 • “This place isn’t that bad,” Cammy argued halfheartedly as they made their way towards the Dojo. They’d eventually arrive at its gates, at a high enough elevation to view the entirety of the town they’d just been in. “You wanna try to open it?” Cammy asked Barbara, looking at the gates.

 • "Hell yeah!" Barbara said, an expression of joy on her face when she saw the gates. The Barbarian made her way to the crack in the middle of the two and planted one hand on either side, sending her right foot behind her left as she got into a lunging position. She pushed onwards, one step, two steps, and the door was open. Straightening herself out after throwing the gates into a wide open state, she looked over to Cammy. "Come on."

 • Cammy was always impressed whenever she saw the talents of the other members of her group, and that was shown on her face as Barbara opened the door. She herself would probably struggle–a lot. Regardless, she followed Barbara into the Dojo, taking a look around. It was, of course, and interesting place, and one that Cammy was not used to; she wasn’t much of a fighter, after all.

 • Barb herself was completely foreign to the Dojo, having just heard of the various denizens from people in the village - sometimes through rather colourful and egregious language - though she walked about it like she owned the place. A barbarian among soldiers was very rarely a good situation, but she made it work, eventually finding a small rack of maps. She took one of the actual Dojo itself and looked at it. "Huh... A lot more than I thought this place would have."

 • “Well... I suppose that there’s really only one thing we can do here right now... huh?” Cammy was, for the most part, thinking to herself out loud as she gazed at all the other people in the Dojo training; perhaps sparring, training, or some other form of physical exertion. Cammy supposed that it was about time for her to do some of that, as well.

 • “Yeah. I don’t really know anything about fighting, though....” She said with a bashful tone. “If you don’t mind... helping out a bit?”

 • "Alright, I guess I can help you out a little bit. But I don't deal in that fancy 'Form and stance' stuff, y'know?" Barbara casually asked, as she walked to the middle of the courtyard the two of them were in. She grabbed her axe and placed it gently off to the side, exchanging it for a wooden one to train Cammy with. "Pick your weapon and we can get started."

 • The voice of someone else echoed back surprisingly, a girl, sounding of age or over it. She had yelled one word back. "WHAT?!" The girl sounded just as confused as Camellia. Rose herself being a bandit, was there to scavenge what she could from just about anything that was left.

 • “Oooh! A person!” Cammy was, of course, inexplicably drawn to the unfamiliar voice. She approached the direction from where the ‘what’ sounded, with a certain degree of caution that was easily trumped by curiosity.

 • She found who it was, a woman roughly the age of 20, a tattoo of rose thorns and a sword on her right arm, and an ace of spades as well as a metal band on her left. She was dressed in tighter fitting clothes, a sleeveless vest on with a similar white shirt, the vest zipped up and hugged her figure. Black pants that accented her legs, and a sheath for a sword on her right thigh, which rested empty. Short, pixie cut auburn hair accented silver eyes, a strong jaw and a chiseled face, something to rival Roman sculptures. Rose was dashing and dangerous. The only contrast was the rifle she held, which was aimed at Cammy.

 • Any details about Rose were immediately blurred out by Cammy the moment she saw the gun. The saint let out a quiet squeal, jumping to the right just behind a ruined Dojoville structure. Rose might’ve seen the expression had made before, or heard the fear in the uncontrolled noise she’d made. It was clear that she was terrified. “P-please don’t shoot!” She called out, sweat beading down her forehead. She had to calm down. Think.

 • Rose took a moment, she did reply. "Any reason not too? For all I know you showed up out of nowhere, calling out to anyone. There could be others, maybe a trap. I've seen this kind if scenario, acted in it as well." She lowered the muzzle of her rifle a bit.

 • “Well, uh, first of all, I’ve no weaponry. Second of all, murder or attempted murder’s... y’know. Somewhat illegal. Oh, and also it wouldn’t be self defense if law enforcement finds that you shot at a person who they’ve found to have no weapons. And you can’t say that you won’t be caught, because witnesses are a thing. Witness protection is also a thing. Maybe, perhaps, you might somehow be able to avoid all that... but would you really want to go through all the trouble because you shot a defenseless woman who has no apparent reason to harm you?” She poked the top of her head around the corner so only her eyes and empty hands were showing. “Please don’t shoot?”

 • Rose let out a laugh, she was right. With a click, the rifle transformed into a gladius, and Rose slipped it into a sheath on her right thigh.

 • After that ordeal, Cammy thought herself too terrified to leave her safety from around the corner. She simply extended her head out further so her mouth was visible. “Okay, so what was that about? Why was your first reaction to pull a gun out on me?”
