None of that changes the fact that they're still PEOPLE and some gamers act like completely unwarranted assholes who lack real perspective on life vs games. When a developer receives half a dozen [i]personal death threats[/i] over some part of a video game, you can't point blame at the developer and say he/she deserves it or it means you lack good perspective yourself.

Death threats are flat out stupid and I don't condone them. Anyone that direct them towards developers have no business playing games at all. Yes you're right. They are still people but that doesn't mean that they're immune to any criticism. Especially in an industry where criticism will always be given. But there are some who can point out the flaws without being an entitled asshole about it. They speak on these issues because they care and want it to succeed.

Yes, but the point is many are [i]not[/i] those non-self-entitled assholes. Many are acting like complete assholes, not just concerned players giving feedback. No one should be insulting or sending death threats just because of a bug or boredom with a game. Too many gamers don't have sound perspective.
