It is clear that the quality of a game is not what makes it the most profitable anymore. It's doing the least amount of work to hook a target audience to pay the initial $60 only to then resell them recycled content dressed as new content to them later. Since this is a Bungie forum, they get the brunt end of the bitching. No one is making death threats or talking about others' moms.. They are just voicing their discontentment. Some give constructive feedback, and others explode with anger and unproductive posts. You can't expect such a perfect response. Besides, it's not like Bungie is coming to the table to discuss civilly in a bipartisan manner anyway so...
