When you believe it's reasonable to have a discussion on whether your children can be friends with people from a different racial group, and then you find a way to tie this into Trump and his supporters being "racist"
To answer your question, yes. Your children can be friends with white people because white people aren't a collective that likes to consciously or unconsciously oppress minorities at every turn they get in order to "maintain their hold on society." Also, stop blaming Trump and his supporters for every single damn problem; you are giving the man too much credit.

Well it isnt only ethnic people who do this. In fact, historically, minorities only act this way because when they were youths they couldn't even go outside without some form of racial profiling. Im talking "whites only" shit (water fountains and restaurants for example), Im talking about segregated school districts (which still exist btw), all that. The response isnt unprovoked, and since a lot of racial tension can lead to senseless violence, parents cut out the middle man.

Make everyone blind and deaf and we won't have these issues

Fighting racism with racism. Brilliant.

Holy Crap. Good read if you ever wanto hear what an ACTUAL RACIST sounds like.
-
NEVER be friends with white children because it'll come to the day that they start asking permission to use racial slurs and they'll occasionally say "I have black friends" when trying to prove they're not racist and he'll point to you. Also there will be a chance he'll try to take up rapping, and white rappers are often times terrible

Edited by Uncanny_Vale: 11/14/2017 8:58:01 AMKids don’t even comprehend the concept of race. Fear or hatred of other races is something they learn from us as they get older. I’ve seen my daughter playing with kids of all other races in the park or at daycare, totally oblivious to their race. Kids are just kids. They don’t care. It’s only as they get older that we poison their minds with all this racism crap. Maybe the author of this article needs to remember the words of Martin Luther King:
I have a dream that one day little black boys and girls will be holding hands with little white boys and girls.
-
Can my children be friends with black people? I'm not so sure anymore.
-
More proof of media bias against anything Western cultural and the people who birthed it.
-
Just imagine the author was white and the title read "can my kids be friends with black people?"
-
I do love the diabolical omnipotence these people apply to myself, and those who share my skin colour. Someone says something that can be construed as rude? Mistake? No. They are using their incredible intellect further their devilish goals of continued oppression through intentional and careful word choice, to strip you of your humanity and subvert your power. Why, we even use micro-agressions such as subtle facial expressions, or worse, compliments, in order to keep you under our boot, as that is all we truly care about or focus on. Such is our conviction, dedication and villainy. But at the same time we're all ignorant and stupid... Somehow.
-
This is a racist article. Imagine the uproar if the article was titled"Can my children be friends with black people?" But racism towards white people is impossible, right?
-
ITT: Delusional morons who genuinely believe white people are under attack -- anything to feel like a victim!

I Type Like This Cuz Every Word Is Important.

I love how they said that they are teaching their kids not to trust anyone for no reason, then they act like Donald Trump is teaching their kids not to trust anyone.
-
My best friend from elementary school was black, we didn't think it was strange at the time. Raise your kids with the idea that you should judge people based on the quality of their character, not their skin color. That's how you end racism

Edited by Wasted Ellipsis: 11/14/2017 4:01:30 AMThat guy is doing irreparable damage to his children, that's so sad... There are some things that should not be discussed with children, wait till they are old enough to know what it means... My head hurts now too...
-
I read the article thinking it wasn't going to be that bad, but it was. I then found an interview with the guy who wrote it, which was just as bad as the article. This is completely racist and the professor that wrote it should be ashamed.
-
So....because the writer perceives a racial divide, he is now going to create an actual divide by teaching his kids to not trust "those people?" Way to heal those wounds!! That's like telling a person with a paper cut on their finger that they will have to have the whole arm amputated!!
-
It’s disappointing and sad. Can’t trust most forms of media.
-
Edited by blade329: 11/14/2017 6:21:52 PMIt drives me crazy listening to people like that who can't even follow the rules they set for others. They don't want to be judged or discriminated against by the color of their skin, but have no problem doing it to others. It's hypocrisy.

This thread sucks. there's not a single minecraft lets play in it.

Edited by Pito25-03: 11/14/2017 12:58:56 AMThis is dumb. I was friends with plenty of white kids growing up. You know how many of them know Spanish curse words because of me? I’ll give you a hint...an ass-ton. And I’m sure they’re still using them to this day. Let’s all learn from each other 👍🏽

BULLSHIT

This sickens me. Can we as a society just stop the racial crap?
