Trayven Camp Barracks
Sometime After Dark
"And... Perfect. Well, not bad."
Nat adjusted the last book in the back half of a barracks tent - One that was only half-occupied by Trayven forces, due to others being straight up kicked out by Natalie. She snickered internally when she looked at the blanket wall that had hanged from the cieling, a row of thick black blankets was all that had remained to divide her little section of privacy from the rest of the camp. It was a small pleasure to her, a way to show that while she was affiliated to the army, she stood at a position higher than just the average footman. Or rather, she acted like it, anyways.
The inside of her own personal tent was fairly quaint and small, but it was her own: A two-person bed, a couch, a low table in front of said couch, and a large table with some chairs was all she had in terms of furniture aside from the shelf, but it was enough for her in this second home. She had a radio on the table, which played a tune of Van Halen's "Panama" that was just muffled by the wall of cloth dividing her room from the other half of the tent. She was finally happy with the room and grabbed a book, a copy of some admittedly shitty romance novel, and took a seat on her L-shaped couch with a sense of pride.
((Open to all. If you need a way to reply, just investigate the music from the tent.))

"Yeah. I was trained for a good deal of time."
-
"Sounds fun."
-
"I'm glad I learned how to fight, but fun isn't exactly how I would describe it."
-
"What, who doesn't like to fight?"
-
"I try not to if I don't have to. Like I said, I've hurt enough people already."
-
"Gotcha."
-
"Though, if it's all in good fun, I don't see a reason I wouldn't be fun." She said after a few seconds
-
"Phrasing."
-
"I-I don't get it..."
-
"Nevermind."
-
"Trained with what?"
-
"That's why people need to be able to protect themselves. But that's just my opinion."
-
"I like it. I could definitely get used to it." She said happily.

Silence went on for a moment, before a commotion was heard outside, footsteps and angry grumbling. The entrance to the tent thrown aside like nothing as Rose stood in it, fuming. Her short cut hair was a bit fuzzed, most likely she had been sleeping. Would explain her mood as well. The girl went to yell then. "WHO THE HE- Nat?" She cut herself off then, immediately losing her gloomy mood, replaced by a lighter one.
-
Natalie's first reaction wasn't a very calm one. Instinctively her hand jerked forwards and her fingers made a flicking motion, casting a spell that would have knocked Rose back if it weren't for Nat cutting the spell off halfway. She looked at Rose and then to the doorway, then back to Rose once again. "Hey, you're paying for that door!" Nat jokingly shouted to the bandit, as she stood and approached the blankets. Which she tried once again to pin up, as they were rather delicately placed and a movement that Rose would do had torn it right down.
-
Rose's face flushed red, matching her namesake as she stepped back to let Nat go at it. "Sorry, just you're music woke me up. First I've slept in a while." The bandit shrugged, taking the moment to look around the tent.
-
"What, you work here too?" Natalie asked, a grin on her face. She knew that Rose talked about a tribe often, could it have been the Trayven army she was referring to? It was a funny thought to the purple-haired woman, who finished up with the doorway a minute later.

Edited by Frigid_Jackal_: 11/13/2017 2:48:43 AM"Its a long, long story. For now I do, just to leave it at that. Forgot you said you worked here." Rose let out a half hearted chuckle, rubbing the back of her neck. She didn't know how Nat would react to her plans of revenge against Isabelle.
-
"Yeah, well, funny what a night of 'Poker' can get you into." Nat chuckled to herself then as she sat down on her couch. There was no real poker that night, but it landed her a fair job.
-
"Well, I'll have to play sometime, see what my hand wins against you." Rose grinned then, her own sly comment slipped out. She sat down on the couch as well, glancing about the room. It did suit something Nat would live in, certainly better than the tent in the forest.
-
"Oh I think you would have fun," Nat replied with a snicker. She brought her eyes up the frame of Rose when she said that, alluding to what poker really was. "So, you were in this tent? Hell of a coincidence."
-
"Well, I'm in the next one over. I could be in this one, just depends on its owner." Rose winked then, glancing at Nat as she said the comment. She was playing a risky game, flirting with Nat and another girl...
-
"That would be alright by. Just as long as you don't mind sharing a bed. And blanket. And maybe a hangover the morning after." Natalie jokingly chuckled at that last response. She really didn't mind Rose staying in the tent with her, just as long as she didn't touch any of the books she was a happy lady.
-
"I can handle my alcohol, but can you handle me is the question?" Rose laughed then, surprised Nat was keeping the string of flirtatious comments going. A woman after Rose's own heart, what where the odds.
-
"Depends, what would you be bringing to the table? Aside from my clothes afterwards." It seemed Rose wanted to flirt? Well, Nat was suddenly glad she inherited her father's sense of character when doing so.
