Trayven Camp Barracks
Sometime After Dark
"And... Perfect. Well, not bad."
Nat adjusted the last book in the back half of a barracks tent - One that was only half-occupied by Trayven forces, due to others being straight up kicked out by Natalie. She snickered internally when she looked at the blanket wall that had hanged from the cieling, a row of thick black blankets was all that had remained to divide her little section of privacy from the rest of the camp. It was a small pleasure to her, a way to show that while she was affiliated to the army, she stood at a position higher than just the average footman. Or rather, she acted like it, anyways.
The inside of her own personal tent was fairly quaint and small, but it was her own: A two-person bed, a couch, a low table in front of said couch, and a large table with some chairs was all she had in terms of furniture aside from the shelf, but it was enough for her in this second home. She had a radio on the table, which played a tune of Van Halen's "Panama" that was just muffled by the wall of cloth dividing her room from the other half of the tent. She was finally happy with the room and grabbed a book, a copy of some admittedly shitty romance novel, and took a seat on her L-shaped couch with a sense of pride.
((Open to all. If you need a way to reply, just investigate the music from the tent.))

Eris had discovered something during this period. That was the fact that she loved music. Nat could see she wasn't used to the rhythm of it, the sound of music or at least this kind. She had a mad happy grin as they listened to it, really enjoying anything faster and up beat
-
Nat finished it off with another classic, that being Aerosmith and Run DMC's 'Walk This Way.' She chuckled and leaned back in her chair. "You like the music, right?"
-
"Yeah I do!" She said laughing happily as they listened. She had gotten a good deal more comfortable with Nat over that time, hell she had even danced to some of the songs she found appropriate having some background skill with it. At the end she had returned to sitting in the floor, clearly very happy
-
"Good to hear. Got any favourites?"
-
"Not really. I liked them all." She said sitting there, legs crossed and arms behind her, cleaning back on them a bit "The last one was pretty good though. Really liked that one."
-
"The Aerosmith one? Yeah that's a favourite of mine."
-
"Your kind has developed so much music. It's just... not something I'm used to. Only time I ever really heard it was at festivals or feasts."
-
"My kind? What?"
-
"Like I said, in my planet music was never something made too much. But where you're from, they seem to have made a lot of it."
-
"Yeah, around here we listen to it a hell of a lot."
-
"Definitely something I could get used to." She said, before peeking up a bit. "Oh, I just realized I never introduced myself. I'm Eris." She said happily
-
"Nat. Nice to meet you, Eris."
-
"And you as well. It's nice to meet new people. Well, when they're nice at least." She said
-
"I agree, meeting assholes is so boring until you kick their ass."
-
"Or just deadlift them like a weight." She said laughing a bit. She looked strong, but not like she was THAT strong
-
"That works too. I still think that hitting them over the head is more fun though."
-
"It can be, if the need arises. If I can though, I avoid hurting people if I can..."
-
"Why?"
-
"I... I've hurt a lot of people. Not because I wanted to, but I have. I don't want to add any more that I don't have to to that total." She said, a tinge of sadness in her voice as she looked downwards.
-
"Alright, that's a fair reason, as far as reasons go."
-
"Though that doesn't mean that I won't if I need to. I'm not going to let something horrible go unpunished."
-
"Obviously. People need to do shit when they're being attacked, you know."
-
"Actually, that's one of the reasons I opened a training area. Help train normal people so they can protect themselves."
-
"You have an arena?"
-
"No, not an arena. In a way almost like a dojo but it really. Somewhere I teach people who don't know how to fight how to protect themselves."
