The floating spear didn't move as he expected it too, locked in the air by some force beyond reason. With part of the plan foiled, his other half kept going. Rose kept watch of the electrified tip, and needed to at least touch his staff to disarm him. But for now she had to rely on her own methods. She did keep a metal band on her arm, and she did the next best thing; Making it flow like liquid, she ended taking the hit from the staff, making be yell in pain; but managed to cut it short as the metal flew from be arm, and then onto the tip of Eddie's staff, molding over the tip. She smacked his staff away then, her body jerking and twitching from the sudden overload. But she did manage to force her own hand, by weighing down his staff and negating part of his weapon.
