Who doesn't like to mentally torture their Guardians? I do.
Nightmare from Ireland Dreams of Sarah Grey She stood alone, in the Dojo Woods. Words echoed from a mysterious memory she had but couldn't figure out where it was from. "Everybody's sorry fer somethin, but yer still selfish enough ta do it in the first place." "Who's saying that?" She asked. She slowly turned around. Sarah saw someone behind her. A Hunter, no less. A Hunter, with the hood of his cloak up. The armor was unrecognizable to her. Literally. It was like what his armor was supposed to be was erased from her mind. "Who are you?" She demanded, her right hand reaching for her Dark-Drinker, the sword that rested strapped to her back. "Ya don't... remember me love?" The Hunter asked, an Irish accent was prominent. He pulled down the hood of his cloak. The Hunter had short, wavy, dark brown hair, and brown eyes. He had two red stripe tattoos running down his left cheek. Surely, Sarah would remember someone who would stand out like that in a crowd... right? Yet, she still didn't recognize him. The Hunter spoke again, "Sarah, love? Where's yer ring." He was looking at her right hand. He reached for it, taking her hand, looking at it. Her hand was bare, without glove. She pulled her hand away. "Why would I have a ring?" She demanded, "I'm not engaged. Or married. Or even dating. I've been single for years!" "Ya don't remember...?" He asked, "Yer married... ta me. Don't ya remember, Lady Warlock?" The Hunter had called her that, and those words felt.... familiar. Sarah's hand reached for the Dark-Drinker, again, "What do you mean?! It's been just me and Lunar. And recently Seraph, but that's aside from the point. I don't love you. I don't even know you! Get away from me!" "Sarah..." the Hunter begged, weakly. Her hand wrapped around her sword's handle. Pulling it off her back. She swung it once, and the Dark-Drinker decapitated the Hunter.
Stabbed in the heart with the Feels-Lighter.™ Bad spirit Dojo James. Bad Spirit Dojo James. I'll call Ghostbusters on you again.
Waking Moments 02:54, Dojo Woods, and Coincedently Near where Zavala's Shallow, Unmarked Grave Is. The Warlock awoke, sweating. She was breathing heavily. Lunar appeared, calming her down, "Easy, easy, Sarah. It was just a nightmare." "Lunar?" She asked, sitting up. "Yeah?" The Ghost asked. "For a Ghost that sounds like Nolan North, you know how to calm people down. Thanks." "Want Seraph to lull you back to sleep again?" He asked. "No, but I do want to speak to her, Seraph!" The whitish-grey code replica of the Warlock appeared at her left shoulder, "Yes, Miss Grey?" "I told you to drop the formalities, geez. I thought your patronizing subroutines were offline. Anyway, have you found any similarities between the memories and the nightmare?" Sarah asked. "Just your impulsiveness. Nothing else. That Hunter isn't showing up in any of our memories. More information may be needed," Seraph replied. "Nothing in any of my memories, either," Lunar said. "This probably isn't a missing piece," Sarah said. "It could be," Seraph suggested. "Seraph, it probably isn't," the Guardian argued. Seraph muttered something, "Tá do stubbornness ag clashing le do instincts arís." "What?" Sarah asked. "Nothing...." Seraph replied. • The Ghost would probably begin to realize they were nearing the library as Bedlam looked over his shoulder and at the Ghost. "Huh. What does it take to be a Guardian again? I wouldn't mind having power that was actually somewhat reliable."

  • "We pick those who could achive great things, and things that could help humanity or make a difference. Sarah... I had a feeling she would be special when I found her in the Cosmodrone. She had found the light, somehow, before she had met me. She had some of it. I... I... was curious. She was sort of an anamoly. Plus, she remembered more than most Guardians. She even recognized me as a Ghost, and where we were. She had a quite a memory," Lunar told him.

  • Bedlam chuckled as the library came into view. "Well, I'm only the last thing on that list so my chances are slim, aren't they? I'm glad she's something special that can help people though. I find it amazing how people like her do what they do."

  • Lunar sighed. "My precious little snowflake," Lunar muttered, "The unique little Warlock." He seemed a bit concerned, as he glanced to his Warlock.

  • Bedlam smirked at Lunar and gave a wink. "She's in good hands, mate. Well, maybe not good. More like relia-....hmm. I'll take care of her, okay? I won't let her down."

  • "Okay," Lunar replied, his tone rather monotone. He scanned around her neck, then muttered, "Oh, she's still logged off."

  • "Logged off? Cool, so I'm falling for an avatar...?" Bedlam stopped just outside of the library, staring up at the Ghost with confused look.

  • "No... I was talking about Seraph, the AI I made based off Sarah," Lunar replied. "Sarah has neural implants. That's where Seraph tends to stay, most of the time," the Ghost replied.

  • He sighed in relief and laughed a little. "Oh thank goodness! That would've sucked....Also, never tell her any of the stuff I've been saying about her. Kinda a bad idea, y'know?" Bedlam managed to open the door by kicking it after a few attempts, entering with Sarah still in his arms.

"Seraph and Sarah have opposite personalities. Where as Sarah is a bit more extraverted, and talks a lot. Seraph is shy. That's why you don't see her much," Lunar replied, following.

  • "That didn't sound like you agreeing not to bring up where I said I was falling for her n'sh*t..." Bedlam made way through the library, obviously looking for something.

  • "Oh. Yeah, I'm not the best with secrets, my brother Ghost, Lush-- well he's my brother because he's Mia's Ghost-- he is better at keeping secrets. But that's because he is silent," Lunar replied.

  • Bedlam glared at the Ghost. "Don't. Tell. Her. I'm trying to befriend her and she'll probably be weird around me if she learns I have a crush on her since she just remembered having a husband and doesn't even know he's dead yet. If I can't be hers in that way I'll at least be her friend."

  • "I'll tell you from expirence. She'll take that as a challenge and will be funny to watch, but I'll shut up about it," Lunar told him with a snarky tone.

  • "Wait, what does that mean? What kind of challenge?" Bedlam eventually led them to a bookshelf that had a few lower shelves taken out and replaced with a bed. "I wanna know, Lunar...kinda mean to leave me hanging."

  • "Heh heh. That's for me, her, Seraph, and the funny memories to remember," Lunar added. He scanned the entire bookshelf nearby.

  • The books all seemed to be about something called 'chaos manipulation', but they were all written in a language unknown to the Ghost. Bedlam gently placed Sarah onto the bed, careful not to wake her. He covered her body with a soft blanket he had stuffed into a nearby shelf. "Well, even if you tell her I'll make sure to make her as happy as I can. That's my life goal after all, to spread as much joy as I can."

  • Bedlam sighed. "Well, want to play a game or something? I'd say chess, but chess is dumb considering whoever plays first wins automatically if the two players are good enough."

"True. But You're playing against a board game mastermind who also has access to a functioning AI, though I don't need it, so haha."

  • "Hmm...." Bedlam smirked. "Ever heard of the board game called Go? Bet your AI isn't good enough to calculate all the possibilities of that game."

  • "Yknow, it's very simple. Kinda like checkers. You have little chips, one side colored black and the other white, that you place on the board and the whole objective is to control as much territory on the board as possible using said chips. It's rather fun. You know what would make it even more fun? An interesting bet."

  • "A bet?" Lunar asked, "Oh, I'm interested." The Ghost was a bit of a gambler. "Tell me the bet!"

  • "Huh." Bedlam thought for a moment. "I don't know what you want from me if you somehow win, but if I win I want you to help be my wingman with Sarah."
