Cain began to walk closer to the woman now, pure intrigue guiding his steps. “Then...who? This vision is still...confusing. Like it’s a puzzle missing pieces.”

"The vision was that of many. You saw that approaching through the eyes of a slave to dark magics. Now, he is a slave to fate. The one that planted it there.. I shall not utter their name. Tis a word too dark for this place. We need more light." Athena spoke, in riddles and in a puzzling manner. Though she hummed to herself quietly, as well. Perhaps she was.. insane.

  • “I...suppose I could conjure a flame for us.” Cain proposed. In reality, he found this woman absolutely fascinating. He could hardly understand what normal people said all the time, so it didn’t really matter how cryptic she was.

  • "Not that kind of light, dearest cold one. A beacon of hope in these darkening times. One not brought by terrible golden lions, or the saving choice of the people, nor the Dojo that looms over the world. No, it must shine from us all. Else we are all doomed to the abyss that is.. perfection."

  • “What...sort of light do you mean?” Cain asked now. “I...think you mean hope? Is that it?”

  • "...hope is a word that you can use, yes. The Dojo seems filled with hope, but the lions.. They are afraid. The red lioness craves for an ending. She craves that she, and her lady, will be safe after the conflict. But the purple lioness.. the dragon underneath her skin roars in agony. On the outside, charming, yet vulgar and violent. But within.." Athena would sigh, at that.

  • Cain scratched the back of his head, though he seemed to be connecting the dots. That said he chuckled softly. “You...talk much different then anyone else I’ve met.” He told Athena. “Not in a bad way, I mean, it’s...err.” He stumbled as he spoke, since he knew he would probably end up insulting her if he kept talking.

  • "I have received such words from a great many, cold one. Do not be sheepish, nor anxious, of one such as I. I am a mere Songstress - a singer of fate and prophecy, if I must explain." Athena's robes would weave together and flutter within the wind, as she would turn her head back to face Cain. She was.. beautiful. Slender and thin, her skin was a pale, smoothened texture. Crystalline blue eyes, of the same shade that stormed into Cain's visions, stared out towards him, fluttering shut as she blinked. The woman's silverly cyan hair was kept into a tight, wraparound bun in the back of her head, light strings and curls upon the side of her thin face.

  • Cain blinked slowly for but a moment, before he rubbed the nails of his thumb and index finger as he looked at the woman. He...wasn’t quite sure where to go with this. What the soldiers said then was true, she was...an orphan? No...and adopted child? Or both of this king? She made much more sense in the vision. “If you insist...” Cain said, trying to be a little more confident. “My sister...she can play piano. She’s a musician, which...isn’t too much different from a singer is it?”

  • "Your sister.. she doesn't dissect the weaves of fate and prophecy, I would hope? It is a horrid fate, to be a Songstress. Or worse, a child of one." The mere mentioning of a child brought her gaze down a little, alongside.. confusion, almost.

  • “Errr...no. I think she just plays piano.” Cain told the blue haired woman. He looked back to the dojo, then quickly to the sky, before turning his head again to Athena. “We should make our way to the council meeting, I think. It will likely be starting soon.”
