Rose huffed then in amusement, pulling out her phone to send s message.

[i]Nat started to clean up the mess from the food, shoving it all into the fire. [/i]

It took Rose a bit, an excuse of a few soldiers testing artillery, saying she took care of them, and left the rest for other scavengers.

[i]"So what do you do for fun at that campsite all day? And I mean other than beat people over the head?" Natalie would inquire, stepping out of the tent for a moment and stretching her legs and arms. [/i]

"There are fights, yeah, usually I sit around and just wait. Others do too, aside from the scouts we send out to keep an eye on the area. Usually its quiet, and nothing much goes on unless we celebrate something."

[i]"So you just... Sit around all day, then? Don't you have books?" [/i]

"When I get them, never been one for reading."

[i]"Well that sounds boring, just sitting and staring at nothing all day." [/i]

"Its usually just for a day or two, maybe longer. I'm used to it, its honestly not too bad."

[i]"So do you, like, watch one day and scavenge the next?" [/i]

"Usually we scavenge raid or loot, then sort through it all, take a day or two to relax, then prep for the next one."

[i]"How do you divide the loot?"[/i]

"Sell off any valuables or trade with other groups, then whoever wants what's left can take it.,

[i]"Fair. Who do you usually target for looting?" [/i]

"Depends what we need at the time. Could be vacated places, sometimes civilian areas, rarely military targets. Destroyed areas or places recently effected by something you can guarantee will be looted as well."

[i]"Civilian targets? Okay that's a little -blam!-ed up." [/i]

"Like I said, it depends. Boss usually wants as little casualties as possible, so avoids civilian areas."

[i]"Well, then I guess it could be worse." [/i]

"Yeah, it could be a lot worse."

"You should take me on a raid sometime," Nat half-jokingly responded.

Rose let out a huff. "Maybe, sometime."

[i]Natalie sat in silence for a bit: It was starting to get rather dark, despite it being so early in the night. It was only eight yet these winter months made the days so short, almost to the point of teasing her with summer sunlight. "It's getting pretty dark out here..." [/i]

"Yeah, I should probably get going." Rose's innocence showed for now, the girl knowing she needed to get going.

[i]"Think you'll be okay to walk alone in the dark?" [/i]

"I've done worse in the dark" She smirked then, standing up

[i]"Oh you tease," Natalie responded with a laugh, and a knowing grin. She made way back into her small hut, where she started to put things away into a small black chest. She was getting ready to leave in the morning, so she figured being ready was a smart call. [/i]
