Gesturing to lead the way then, Rose was a bit excited now. Not only did she meet a mage, a cute one, but now she was offering food, and food was the key to the bandit's heart.

[i]Nat made way to her campsite, which was maybe ten minutes east of their current location. Situated in a valley between a small hill and two rather large mountains, Nat's campsite was burrowed below a few blankets and four foot tall sticks to hold them up. She had a bonfire set up outside of the small but, which held everything from a sleeping roll and food to a stack of books. She grabbed a package of hamburger patties from inside a small red cooler and set them atop a rack over the fire, and after lighting it with a bit of her gravity magic by rubbing two sticks together, she got the burgers going. Rather than staying there, she went into the camp again and sat down on her sleeping roll. [/i]

Rose's first instinct was to look around to see what was worth taking, but she stopped herself, this woman was innocent and so far was too her liking. She could use more friends. Most though weren't fine with her lifestyle.

[i]"So," Nat piped up a second later, laying in her bed. She stared at the patched blanket roof and laid her staff beside her, the armour of her body making her look slightly larger than she was. "Tell me about yourself?" [/i]

A bandit, which is why I hesitated when you asked about my camp." She shrugged. It had to be said anyways. Hoping however that Nat wouldn't take too badly to it, she wanted her as a friend, magic may come in handy eventually.

[i]"Sounds like fun." Nat really had no room to speak. She was a normal person who joined a medieval army, so a bandit wasn't really somebody she was in a position to judge. [/i]

She let out a sigh of relief then, maybe a bit too loudly. Looking up to Nat then. "What's you're story?"

Well I like long walks on the beach, bandits, and magic," Natalie jokingly said in response, sitting up and looking over to Rose with a friendly demeanour over her face, given away by a light smile that graced her almost pale face. "I'm a chick from Vegas. Gambler, drinker, recently joined some sorta medieval army. Like, swords and stuff." [/i]

Bandits? That caught her off guard, and most likely Nat meant Rose, which made her face flush red. She tried to keep the conversation going then. "Well, certainly interesting. I haven't done anything as near as cool as joining an army."

[i]"Believe me, it isn't too cool. Mainly I just walk around a camp with a friend and hang out - The real fun is in the main city." [/i]

"Heh, same here pretty much, aside from occasional raids on places." She shrugged, sitting down across from Nat.

[i]"What do you mean raids?" [/i]

"Looting places, mostly abandoned areas, sometimes there's firefights that go on."

[i]"Sounds like fun. What kind of stuff do you target?" [/i]

"Depends on what is needed at times, could be just about anything really." Letting out a sigh, it wasn't the best part, but then again being a bandit, raider, whatever you wanted to call it, wasn't the best part at times.

[i]"Sounds exciting," Natalie responded, her tone more sarcastic than anything now. She laid there and stared at the blanket above for a moment, telekinetically flipping the burgers from afar. "Whats your camp like?" [/i]

"Hectic, loose rules, relaxed. Nothing really special." She watched her, waiting for the patties to finish.

[i]"Really? That sounds awesome, honestly." Natalie sat up and grabbed a set of two plastic plates, as well as a couple of buns for the burgers. She put them on the buns and came back, handing a plate with two out for Rose. [/i]

She took it, thanking her afterwards. "It is at times, but it can get chaotic when people get too riled up."

[i]"Do you at least have police to keep the peace?" [/i]

"We're bandits, there are no police. Just loose authority and a strict command structure." She raised one of the burgers, taking a bit from it then.

[i]"Then why doesn't the person on top do something to keep people calm?" [/i]

"She does, and I'm second there, and I do as well. Just sometimes after a successful raid or looting we all let loose."

[i]"You're second? How do you deal with it?" [/i]

"They all listen, the boss is the one who drilled it into them all."

[i]"I hope you don't mean that literally; That sounds either fun or painful." [/i]
