I can easily say Destiny was light years over Destiny 2. The excuse of 'D2 vanilla was better than D1 vanilla' is pretty pathetic for a *sequel* with 3yrs development.

Still, even with 2yrs, which isn't a short window fir development time, D2 falls way short of the mark.

It wasn't though, at least in the mind of most reviews and a majority of the gamers that bought it. This was planned, they tore down the old game to start an new. More is coming.

More is coming.[/quote] The problem is that D1 was an original IP, Destiny 2 is a sequel to a *now* well fleshed out game. So there is an understanding of what [b]needs[/b] to be in game with D2 vanilla. Waiting for those things to be added in DLCs is a sign that they can give us whatever minimal items and gamers say "sure, let's throw money at the screen".

Can't argue against most of that but I feel more changes are coming to the game in which they couldn't get fleshed out and finished as free updates. We shall see.
