I've been with Bungie and Destiny for too long to give up hope, I've been there through the hard times and the good time (that's right, time, cause there was only one, Age of Triumph, best time of Destiny) .
Before anyone says that it's people like me, who's fault it is that D2 is like this, can you honestly say Destiny 1 didn't get better with time? Can you honestly say they didn't make improvements with their content? Can you honestly say you preferred D1 year 1 to D1 year 3, or hell even Year 2?

From my point of view bungie is skating on thin ice specially with this bullshit with flash points 292 gear for a 301 light level character then my two other characters get gear at the same light level of 299 without any problems but my primary character gets screwed over for rewards for the same activity
-
I can easily say Destiny was light years over Destiny 2. The excuse of 'D2 vanilla was better than D1 vanilla' is pretty pathetic for a *sequel* with 3yrs development.
-
I have no doubt that D2 will improve over time, just as D1 did. It’s just unfortunate that we got another game that launched in an obviously unfinished state that we’ll have to pay another $80 to get the rest of. Actually, no, it was unfortunate the first time. Now it’s scummy business practice. And the worst part is, I don’t think it’s really Bungie’s fault. Before Destiny, they had a reputation for releasing games to a certain standard of quality, even if that meant delays. It’s likely Activision who pressures them to push out the minimum viable product on a strict release schedule, knowing that us gamers will pay what ever it takes to see a promising franchise live up to its potential.

I do. But look like it’s not coming back to life. Especially w dlc less than a month away! Cmon man lol. Everyone’s usually going nuts w the hype by this time.

Just for the record, those 23 upvotes are wrong, in truth, this post has made 43 upvotes, however more people are down voting to the point this post can only make it into the 20s

Edited by Dezzie19: 11/8/2017 6:36:22 AMSome people never learn do they? They act like degenerate gamblers clinging onto hope that all will come good. Message to you guys it never will, so cut the cord and save yourself the crushing disappointment ahead.

Agreed. For me they need a crucible overall and it needs to be done the same day osiris hits. Or pvp is in serious trouble. My wish list: Freelance Rumble 6v6 Increase recharge rates Increase gun and nade and melee damage. Balance pass for weapons. Right now its a joke. Dedicated servers. Lol yeah right! Actually what the -blam!- am i thinking, their not gonna do any of this but count their money. Bungie sucks now. Lol

Edited by The 7th fall: 11/8/2017 6:08:22 AMPlayer- "I'll write the obituary collumn" Bungievision- "But it's been years since any Guardian has died in Destiny though" Players- "We live in hope" Bungie had 3 years to improve over Nerfstiny 1, which I admit during the first year Nerfstiny 1 was really fun, and they went three steps backwards. They took away all the good stuff and rolled out all the bad crap that we really hated for Nerfstiny 2. "Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me". Bungievision HAD their chance, squandered it and spat at my face in response, or for that matter spat at the faces' of a lot of fans. This is not a game, not even a broken shell of what it was supposed to be... it's just an unpolished turd.

I love D2

From what I saw D1 got better with time and I still have hope this will be the case for D2.
-
If by "hope" you mean ... hope they change everything back to like Destiny 1 days? Cause then I'm all in!
but yeah I'm hopeful. I just won't buy the DLCs till they fix everything
-
If this was D1....id be perfectly fine.. But its not and theyve had three years to get it right. and then they backpeddle and give us this shit. so no they dont "deserve" the chance to sell us what the game should have been with dlc. nd you shouldnt let them.
-
There is hope, but we’re probably a year plus from getting the game most of us wanted... not the current watered down destiny title
-
I have no hope for any of the future Destiny games UNTIL Activision is behind the scene. When they're gone... IF they're ever gone, we may have a quality Destiny title that relies on offering quality, varied content instead of the best possible strategy to milk its fanbase.
-
Lol, they can’t fix this shit hole... it’s too far gone. The amount of content they need to add to make this game playable is atrocious
-
I honestly like D2. Sure Bungie needs to improve the end game and a few minor things but I really like it. I’ll probably get a lot of flak for saying this but people need to quit complaining about Bungie catering to casuals, it’s a business, not a charity. If you don’t want to buy it then don’t, if you don’t want to play it then don’t, give constructive criticism but realize Bungie needs to make money. That’s the reason they make games, catering to 10% to people who play their game ends up hurting them in the long run. Just my opinion.

Hmm...24 upvotes, and I’m not one of them. Wow. Way to go!

A bad endgame does not make for a bad game. Playing my way to 305 on PC right now and enjoying everything all over again.
-
I have hope, but said hope is extremely slim at this point in time.
-
I can honestly say that dumping 90% of D1 to make the sequel was monumentally ignorant. I love the game and hope it gets better; but the fact is, it should have been great at launch. D1 was a beta. D2 is currently a bad joke.
