I've been with Bungie and Destiny for too long to give up hope, I've been there through the hard times and the good time (that's right, time, cause there was only one, Age of Triumph, best time of Destiny) .
Before anyone says that it's people like me, who's fault it is that D2 is like this, can you honestly say Destiny 1 didn't get better with time? Can you honestly say they didn't make improvements with their content? Can you honestly say you preferred D1 year 1 to D1 year 3, or hell even Year 2?

Skeptical, I'll have to see if the first two DLCs got any quality in it (beside the art and music). So far I've only see mostly Eververse stuff from what Bungie revealed for December.

Not upvoting on account of not needing hope. Feel free to like the game or play something else and come later like you were here all along. Not an attack on op; the optimism is a nice alternative to the daycare of forums nowadays.

Destiny is a fun a game. But im not wasting anymore time on it. Need more crucible options, the pve will dry up quick like always. But D2 is empty and there is no reason to play anymore once youve hit max light

According to the upvote count, all hope is lost.

So so? Yes

So, I was on the boat that Bungie bungled the sequel too. However, after gathering evidence and articles from 2015-2017, I was amazed at all the bread crumbs that were left to follow. Activision brought in their own team, and High Moon, and Vicarious Visions studios all to help Bungie make D2. It's no longer just a Bungie creation. (Too many cooks in the kitchen spoil the soup.) In the articles, tweets, magazines, etc that I found... They literally spelt out the doom of D1 & what D2 would mean... "Destroy Destiny 1 and start over." "Reboot of the franchise." "Appeal to a much broader audience." "Eventually bring back elements from Destiny 1 in DLC and free content over the next year." "Rewrite the whole story, back story, and lore." "Change the game mechanics." "Change the loot system." And it went on. It literally describes what we got in D2. There really weren't many, or any, broken promises. I think the start of D2, the actual destruction of the Tower and all, was their way to fully show us what we knew and had before is gone. Let it sink in.

I'm pretty sure this thread would be in the negatives if negative votes were counted.
-
I’m optimistic but I doubt that you will get much support due to people defaulting to negatives. Plus upvoting is dumb.
-
Sorry this game sucks
-
Ffs, you people sound like the abused wife that‘s been nearly beaten to death saying „I still love him...he can change!“... No matter how often Bunglevision shits on us...there‘ll always be that one crowd that swallows the turd with pleasure because they have „hope“.

LOL 7 up votes? LOL

There's no hope abandon ship while you still can

The number of upvotes on this thread is staggering.

I've been with bungie since 2001, I am losing hope

Edited by Atomic: 11/7/2017 10:37:51 PMI've been here since year one and I can positively say this game is -blam!-ed all they had to do was copy and paste content yet they had a clear vision for this game to appeal to casuals they have had 3 years for mistakes their time is up
-
Screw this game and F bungle. Any year of D1 is better than this crap.
-
The next DLC will be the kicker......not long to wait Bungie has more than enought feedback to make real changes
-

I have hope!

I have hope because it will happen. just like in D1, D2 will be a great fun game...in 3 years right before they are about to release D3. the sad thing is D3 will be super bad at the beginning as well.

I've read the updates for TWAB and there are 3 streams coming to talk about: Season 2, The Dawining and Curse of Osiris as well. I just don't know how much QOL we can expect in so short a time. They said months ago they were concerned about drops and making the "3rd drop of something special" etc but who knows when that'll happen really.

I mean the game is going to be constantly updated with crap. DLCs, expansions, and live updates. There's going to be plenty of reason to come back. It won't stop either. People just need to get over the idea that there needs to be constant content to sate their obligation lacking life style. Now quality is another matter, and one I would like to discuss but everyone is obsessed with petty topics.
