[b]The Ancient Mage or should i say witch?[/b]
[u]Location: Outskirts of woods
Time: late evening [/u]
[i]At a makeshift campsite of one Azalea Frost sits the woman alone sitting with her staff always within grabbing distance. She in herself was just shrouded in mystery as she had no clear ties to the place or so it seems. but that's her business alone as she really even talk to anyone very much.
She was fairly pretty and youthful looking despite her being a lot older than a lot of them here. She was about 6'5" in height with a thin slender build that made look like not much of a threat. She had bright emerald green eyes that stare at her book by the light fire. She had light blue
skin a clear sign she wasn't human at all. She had very long hair going down to her waist it was fiery red but had streaks of silver in her showing that she indeed is old.
She sat wearing her long grey cloak , light blue tunic and black pants. She sat there as she read humming a strange melody lost to the ages of time itself. It seemed to be a calming song to something from her past she could never forget. She had sighed though when she had heard someone walking. She hadn't grabbed her staff just yet but she had a hand on her dagger as she looked to see who was there. [/i]

When he sees her, he jumps back.[/i] “Ahh.” [i]He wears a hood and his face is completely masked, a sun in the middle of where his eyes would be. Feathers cover parts of the back and cloth is simply wrapped around his arms and legs. A few pieces of metal cover his legs and his right shoulder. An orange hologram of a falcon is on his left arm. "Azalea Frost and it is fairly calm here i guess but not from here originally. I come from the sea."she says calmly

“I’m Adevăr, nice to meet you. I’m originally from a kingdom off in a distant planet. Unfortunately, I’m only here because it is no longer safe for me to return.” [i]He says with a bit of sadness.[/i] “Is that the same situation you’re in?”

"Nah nothing like in a being that can live in water and breath it too. But i can come on land im what people around here call a mermaid."says azalea [i] she then moves her hair showing him a set of gills before hiding them again.[/i]

“Interesting, I’ve never met a mermaid before. Mainly because I don’t like being by a sea of ocean.” [i]He replies.[/i]

"Even if you did you wouldn't really see us we're shy creatures. Well now if fell in there a good chance that one would save you."says azalea

“I’m not worried about falling in, just worried about what is there.” [i] Adevăr replied.[/i] “I’ve always feared the sea, all the stories I’ve heard of people being killed by monsters that exist there. They frightened me, to put it lightly.”

"Monsters are everywhere even i fear the sea and i live in it. I haven't gotten as old as have without learning to survive in it and im pretty damn old. Im pretty much classed as a ancient mer because of it. "Says azalea

“Yeah, there may be monsters everywhere, but, the sea is entirely different from land. Land is something comfortable for me, and I feel safer. The sea is just a giant body of water, I’d have no chance to survive.” [i]He replies.[/i]

"It's vice versa for me as land is unnatural to me. I spent a lot of my life there. No matter where i go i will always return to water. It's my in nature."says azalea [i]She leans back a bit while talking to him. [/i]

“Well, I guess that’s just nature.” [i] Adevăr says. He still stands straight, but it’s tough to tell if he’s relaxed due to the mask and the same tone of voice.[/i]

"Mhm yup definitely never can change it really at all. So pardon me being curious but what with the mask are you disfigured or is it something else?"says azalea

[i]He sighs a bit.[/i] “Well, it allows me to see. It has a special power that gives me sight when I wear it. Now, I used to be able to see, but, I made the mistake of speaking out against a tyrant who took over my home. So, he had me imprisoned, and then had me eyes gouged.” [i]He says looking at the ground in sadness.[/i]

"Well certainly can be i know i have made the mistakes cause and point. My sister when she was alive got blinded by accidentally so i made a pair of magically enchanted glass eyes so she could see."says azalea

“Well, that’s sad to hear that happened to your sister, but good that you knew what to do. I was only able to get the mask because my friend made it and risked getting killed smuggling it to me.” [i] Adevăr replies.[/i]

But that way long ago and most of my own family is dead except my two granddaughter and their six beautiful greatgrandkids. I came to late to meet one of them sadly she was slain just because part dragon. Which saddens me greatly."says azalea

That's why i figured i should probably come here especially after getting that letter from my late granddaughter she wanted to come here tis a shame i came too late. i would have been able to protect them and kept them safe."Says azalea

It a cold fact that dragons and mermaids are more hunted a lot because they are valuable but even more so if there mixed too."says azalea [i]azalea had seen a lot of death and murder in her life. She had seen more than he could ever imagine. She sighed slightly staring at the fire for second before speaking for a bit.[/i]
