"No. You didn't offend me," she replied, sighing.
She took the cup, and took a sip, "I just... didn't know what you meant. I've got some gaps in the memories. I mean, most guardians do about their first lives."
The Warlock fell silent for a minute. She set the drink down. Something about that subject was bothering her.

"Did I strike a nerve? I apologize if you dislike the topic. I was simply curious if you were single for...obvious reasons." He finished the glass and poured another. "I can relate to memory loss. Sucks and you never truly get over it, but you can't mope around forever. You just gotta make new memories."
-
"Yeah. But I feel like what I don't remember is super important. Something that really changed everything," she admitted. She took another sip. Sarah the glass down, again. "But you're right. I should be moving forward. But right now, it's a question. Actually, a lot of them. And I hate leaving questions unanswered."
-
Bedlam chuckled and patted her on the head, messing with her hair a little. "Cute. You're a curious one. A girl that can shoot and is adventerous? How are you single?" He downed another glass.
-
"I am not sure. There have been a few people that's asked me out. Turned them down." She took another sip of her whiskey, then filled the cup again.
-
"Why'd you turn them down?" He filled his glass back up yet again. "Don't swing that way or something?"
-
"Well, the few who did ask me out aren't that... kind or charming. I mean, while I was here the first time, I went on a date with someone. But the relationship never got further for some reason. Never heard from the guy again. Don't know why."
-
"Hmm. Want to consider this a date? Already part way through." He quickly downed that glass as well. "I'd like to think I'm charming, but there are a lot of fedora tipping neck-beards that think they're charming too."
-
"No. I literally just came back here. I don't wanna get back on the market just yet."
-
"Alright, then we'll enjoy the drink as friends. Either way I get to not feel lonely for a little bit. So, what's your ghost like? They have personalities, don't they?"
-
"Yeah. Lunar's perky. But I like to do the talking. The dork also may be playing solitare with Seraph at this second." Lunar interupted, "We're actually playing 3D chess."
-
"Chess is nice. I was never too good despite enjoying the game." He shrugged. "I imagine you two get along well?"
-
"We get along well. Except we have one grudge," Lunar replied. Sarah's attention turned to her Ghost. "Yeah, like why you would make an AI based off me. Seriously. What did I do to make you do that Lunes?" She asked.
-
"Huh. Don't mind me. Argue a bit if you want. It's entertaining."
-
"Because, you hadn't talked to me in a while. You've only be demanding few a few months. It's been a while since we did something I wanted together," Lunar yelled, "There! I said it." Other bar patrons were turning and watching the Ghost. "Lunes, calm down. We're in public, you're embarrassing me," she whispered. "You know what? I'm glad that I'm embarrassing you! Maybe you will apologize for ignoring me!" The little light turned away, mad. "Lunar... if you would have told me that was the problem... Look, I'm sorry." "Everybody's sorry for something. But you're still selfish enough to do it in the first place," he huffed.
-
"Luna, calm thyself and learn to communicate better. Sara, apologize for not giving attention to the person that keeps your *ss alive." Bedlam said casually as he kept on drinking.
-
*Lunar *Sarah
Lunar fumed, disappearing. The Warlock sipped down the drink. She was notably laughing a bit, "He'll calm down, later. Maybe gather up a few of his Ghost buddies and play Dungeons and Dragons in the middle of the night."

Edited by Stitch: 11/4/2017 10:39:01 PM
It was on purpose.
"Hmm. D&D can be fun if you have the right people. Ever heard the tale of Sir Bearington?" He chuckled. "My god, the stuff that comes out of some peoples imaginations."
-
"Here's the thing, Lunar's actually the dungeon master every time he plays," she told Bedlam.
-
"So it goes terribly, I'm guessing? Well, as someone that used to have a job kind of like a ghost I'll tell you it can get stressful. Endulge him a bit and you'll both be happier because he'll annoy you slightly less."
-
"No. He's actually really good. He also does spot-on impressions. My personal favorite impression of his... Not sure whether I like his Nicholas Cage or Peter Dinkledge impression better."
-
"Oh? So he can impersonate dinklebot pretty well? Is a Dinklebot better or worse than a Nolanbot though?"
-
I wish I said this earlier. Lunar is the only Ghost I have that sounds like Northbot. The rest of them have completely different voices. I will say this: Flame sounds like Doomfist.
"He never has to do a Nolan North impression. But he does a spot-on Dinkledge, though."
-
"Hmm. Interesting. Y'know, I wouldn't mind having a companion that sounds like Bucky fron Halo. I feel like that would be pretty awesome. I would say Cortana would be cool, but she's too obvious. Actually, Church would be really awesome....RIP Church, man." Bedlam raised his glass before finishing it.
-
"How about a toast to the best AI to exist in a web series?" She asked.
-
"Works for me!" Bedlam refilled his glass eagerly. "You want to do the toast, Sarah?"
