For once in her life, Alpha was actually and genuinely moved. Nobody around here sang just to sing unless they were mentally unbalanced. The Dojo was a place of strife, forever condemned to rot in the hells of eternal conflict. Such a voice like Mion's was rare. So, she cried. Alpha cried like she had never cried before, reminded of a time before the chaos and the fighting and the struggles. It was like Mion's singing rubbed away the rust Alpha had accumulated on her soul, the shell she had constructed and rarely ever let up in front of others. She was caught off-guard. Slung around her shoulders was a simple dufflebag, and she held a small notepad with which to write something. This was forgotten, crunched up in her hand in the midst of her anguish. Even as her cries would reverberate throughout the woods, she never stopped. Her body wracked with sobs and occupied with releasing the sorrow built up within her through the years. Idris. Her mother. Alpha could remember the lullabies of yesteryear sung to her in her youth, calming her thoughts of monsters in her closet. Only, she had locked that away. The girl had become so damaged that in order to survive she had closed off that part of her mind, hoping never to have to face a reminder of home again. However, in the wake of Mion's song, Alpha felt her determination to hold onto such cold and harsh perceptions slipping away. Again, she was a small 14 year old teen, curled up on the ground after facing ruthless experimentation and torture, crying for her mother. Only, just as it had happened then, her mother did not answer. The only response was silence.

 • Upon hearing the sobbing from an unknown source, Mion became startled, pausing her singing for a bit. She started to whip her head around, trying to see where exactly those cries were from. She paid little mind to the fact that someone else was here other than her, only focusing on concern for this crying person. "H-hello? Who's there?" Mion called out. She clutched her wrist, eyes scanning the area around her.

 • Alpha stopped, suddenly feeling vulnerable as she was heard. It took her a few times before she could speak, in her oddly modulated voice "Me." She said. The girl was a ways away, having come to do something with that book of hers.

 • She now managed to pinpoint the source of the voice, turning to that direction and gazing at it for a few seconds. She would then walk over to it, looking at the person who spoke. "Hey... Are you okay? Why are you here?"

 • She would meet a goat-person. Of course, if Mion had ever been told about this person, she would know Alpha. However, Irina had told Alpha a lot about Mion. Enough for Alpha to determine Mion's identity. "I"m fine. Just....writing some thoughts." She said, her shell, her defenses, her walls coming back up. The girl gave Mion a smile, though it was utterly unconvincing.

 • "You don't seem fine..." Mion went over to Alpha's side, sitting next to her. She had a concerned look on her face. "I can tell whether someone looks troubled or has problems. So are you okay?" That, and the fact that Alpha cried earlier had her totally convinced that Alpha needed some comfort.

 • "I just......the singing reminded me of something." She said, then decided to take a stab "You're....Mion, right? I know your mom, Irina."

 • Mion was a bit surprised that someone else knew about her, much less her mother. "Wait... you know me? And my mother? How do you know her?"

 • "Because, we're close." Alpha explained. "We go way back....and I care for her. She's probably one of the few people in this world I love." She said, not holding back since she didn't think Mion would blab about it

 • "Oh... I see." Then... there was silence. In all honesty, Mion didn't know what to say next, an awkward tension beginning to fill the air.

 • Alpha got up, dusting off her pants. "Well....I'll go now since this got....weird"
