Angelo laughed a bit as well, keeping his helmet on. His gear was distinctly meant to be used in combat, though it was light. It wasn't military standard for sure though.
"Couldn't bear to wait your turn?" He said, his voice changed to be a bit deeper because of his helmet

"Nah! Felt like having fun and maybe making a friend. Bit lonely at times, y'know?" Star winked as she backed off a little. "Please, go ahead and continue."
-
"Nah, it's ok. If you want to take a go, be my guest. Trigger finger's starting to get a bit sore anyways. Can only take down so many Witches before you need a break, right?" He said jokingly, as he slung his rifle on his back. He had an Italian accent
-
"Fine with me!" Star started a simulation, all that was heard was a single shot, but in an instand several dozen targets were down. "Done."
-
"Ok, I don't think that's physically possible, though to be honest I've stopped concerning myself with that after finding this place." He said as he watched the shot, or shots, hit their mark.
-
Star holstered the gun with a laugh. "I'm a bit special with guns. I'm not too good at getting physical however. Knock me down and that's usually the end."
-
"I might not look like much, though I'm pretty good when t comes to being in a melee. Something you have to be good at in my squad's line of work."
-
"Military? I'm just an athlete. I've hardly been in any real fights. Not my thing." She shrugged.
-
"Yeah. Been military for a good deal of my life, though my squad and I are freelance."
-
"Oh? Freelance? That's cool. So you've travelled a lot? What kind of places and things have you done?" Star sat down on the ground with her legs crossed.
-
"Don't really know how we ended up here, though my squad and I usually worked on our Earth. We were trained by task forces to be Witch Hunters, take down enemies with very powerful magical abilities. I've been all over the planet."
-
"So you went on witch hunts for witches." Star asked, snickering. "What kind of abilities you got?"
-
"We only went after the ones who caused chaos. Witches generally didn't hire us, too busy hiding or trying to kill us. My squad and I are Naturals, or people who arent born with the abilities of Witches. Doesn't mean I don't have a few tricks." He said, as he nearly disappeared from sight, only someone looking very hard for him would be able to see his outline
-
"Good thing sneaking like that doesn't mean sh*t to my kind." Star pointed to her blue and orange eyes. "Sneaking up is nearly impossible."
-
"Don't worry, I have a few tricks for being a lot less quiet." He said, becoming visible again as he moved to the range. He pointed a hand out, as what looked like a gin began to carve through the ground by leaving no trail. After a bit, what looked like a Mako shark kept out of the ground in an explosion of sheer energy,
-
Star clapped a little with a smile. "Nice. I certainly can't do that. My abilities don't put on that much of a show."
-
"Side effect of having to use Charms to create magic abilities." He says
-
"Well, looks cool. Where do you get the charms? They like, lil items you keep on you or something?"
-
"Yeah. Each ability is bound to an item, enchanted by a Witch who managed to resist the call to chaos."
-
"Awesome. I wonder what resistance they have to anti-magic like things..." Star wondered in a curious manner.
-
"Well I've seen them disintegrate blades and melt bullets so generally being sneaky is the best bet. A round to the head will still kill them though."
-
"I meant the charms, not witches. Though now I'm wondering about witches. Huh. Sorry, just curious."
-
"It's ok. Usually get asked stuff like this. Witches are just like normal people, except they have incredible magic ability snd a call to cause chaos in them. Some can resist, others don't. As for Charms, they can be enchanted with any ability a Witch can have. They just have to will the power into the Charm."
-
"Huh. Can charms capture the powers of nonwitches?" Star asked, laying down and looking up at the clouds.
-
"Not something I've ever tried. From what I've heard from the Witches that are on our side, if it's an ability that can be learned, it can be put on a charm."
-
"Sweeeeet. Where can I get one?!" Star seemed overly eager for a charm of her own.
