Another day, another drink. That was the mantra JT found himself living by, with each weekend he found himself in the bar. The same bar he went to when nothing new was going on in his life.
Aveline and Benny were heading the search for the killer and Derek had been attending an Extryte corporate meeting, leaving JT all alone for the time being. The Marshal hanged his hat on the rack in the bar and his pistols on the table in front of him, to either side of a brown bottle of Crown Royal on the table. The bar was as dead as his current activity, and so he waited for someone interesting to hopefully walk through that front door.
((Open. This is a boredom post.))

She gave JT a dirty look "Wow."
-
"She'd do the same 'bout me, chill."
-
"I just hope she's okay." She said, with genuine concern in her voice
-
"I'm sure she is, trust me."
-
"...She's the closest I have to a mother. You know that." She said quietly
-
"Didn't know, didn't need to. Regardless, she's definitely alright. Ain't nothing stopping that hot ass Italian."
-
"Jesus christ." She said, sighing "If I ever see mini you or mini irina I know why"
-
"Chill, I didn't fûck your mom."
-
She just shook her head "So how long am I here for?"
-
"Leave whenever, just give this to Irina when you see her." JT passed her a wooden box.
-
"...please tell me this isn't Ye Olde Dicke Picke" She said with a laugh
-
"I have a phone for that, kiddo."
-
"I'll have you know I'm an adult now....kinda." She said, getting up from the bed
-
"I'm forty, you're still a kid to my people."
-
"Yeah, yeah. I'll give this to Irina." She said, nodding "Thank you." She added, before leaving

The doors opened and a sombrero-adorned head poked in cautiously. "Open?"
-
"Yeah, come on in!" JT beckoned to the person.
-
"JT!" Shadow grinned and entered fully at the sight of her old friend. "How have you been doing?" The Drow took a seat next to the cowboy.
-
"Same as usual - Bleh. Yourself?" JT inquired, taking a sip from the bottle before him.
-
Shadow took off her sombrero, placing it next to JT's hat. "Been scouting. Discovered a new universe cluster with some interesting occupants." She smirks, her blue eyes swimming in glee. "But other than my eventual hostile takeover, I've been trying to reconnect with some of my kids. Some of the older ones even have kids! I'm a grandmother!"
-
"You have kids?"
-
She nods proudly. "It's my job to produce heirs to my throne, even if I will live forever. But more than that, I am several thousand years old JT. I have lived long, and loved often." She shrugs, unbothered by her admission of age. "My mother would be very disappointed if she didn't get grandkids to spoil."
-
"Riiight, I forgot the hot alien lady lives forever. Us semi-humans only go 'til the Augs rust over."
-
"If ya ever need an upgrade, just call me." She winks. "We can have you fixed up, fine tuned, and upgraded in no time."
