Honestly, Bungie should not be lauded for this.
You don't get credit for fixing your own mistakes. Just about all of this should have been evident from day 1, not a last minute intervention to save the franchise. That being said I am glad they are actually doing this, but don't sing their praises for it.

We complain and demand them to tell us how they plan to fix it. We beg for some communication. They finally answer us with a fairly decent plan. So we aren’t to be happy they listened, made a good plan, and communicated? Ease up on the butthurt salt.
