The problem is D1 vanilla was a mess but it could be polished to be good. Too much grind is better than no grind. You can always remove parts of the grind. Less of this or skip this step etc. In D2 there is nothing to build on. If they are adamant to stick to their static rolls philosophy then the game will die very quickly. The grind is getting a better uriels gift etc. Balance is boring and 6v6 needs to come back. Otherwise this game is doomed.
