No. If you don’t want to play the harder content, that is fine with me, you have plenty of easy stuff to do. In fact, there is over 10x the amount of easy content than hard, seeing as how the only hard content is the Prestige NF and Raid for now. But don’t try to hold those of us who enjoy the difficult stuff back by saying all rewards should be equal.

 • Are you talking about the people who used an exploit or a glitch to clear the content. It seems like to me all people who want is the gear and not the challenge? https://www.gamespot.com/articles/fix-for-destiny-2s-prestige-raid-exploit-delayed-b/1100-6454046/ So please get off your high horse. If people really are going to cheat to get the best.. whats the point

 • So because some people use exploits, that means everyone does? Your logic makes absolutely no sense. I’ve cleared the Prestige Raid and NF multiple times and never once used an exploit. Some of us do like the challenges. There is no “high horse” here, you just seem to want a participation award instead of being rewarded for the activities you are willing to complete.

 • Explain this logic to me. Ive never understood this argument. Does me having good quality gear decrease the quality of your gear. This stems all the back to Vanilla WOW. People started crying when Epic gear became easier to obtain, but anway. What do you care if I have strong gear? Does it belittle your experience and your game play when a casual like me has good gear?

 • You’ve now deflected, and changed your entire argument. What happened to accusing everyone of using exploits? But yes, I will explain to you why it matters that you get endgame gear for not completing endgame activities. It matters because you are not willing to complete the activities. Why do you deserve something that you aren’t willing to put the time in for? And yes, my gear is actually marginalized by you getting gear you don’t deserve, because I have put in the time that you haven’t. Where else in life is that a thing? “Hey Boss, I didn’t work 40 hours this week but I’m gonna need you to pay me for all 40.” “I can be a doctor, I’ve seen Scrubs and ER, I’m sure I’ve got this.”

 • You are entitled to your opinions. I'll respect that. The end will be the same. Developers are targeting casuals more then hard-core players. That's why the game is balanced not focused around overpowered weapons like d1. Casuals usually have more money then time. They are the ones that fund future content. Its a proven demographic. Games in the past punished casuals end up failing. That's why ffxiv is booming right now.
